The fancy pirate dragon in World of Warcraft was not supposed to be available for 5 weeks. But some people have it after a few hours.

In World of Warcraft, patch 11.1.7 has just gone live and brought a number of innovations. Among them is a fancy mount – a black dragon with pirate clothing. Actually, it should take you a whole 5 weeks to achieve, but the first players have it after just two hours. Buy WOW Gold to speed up your journey and unlock epic rewards like this much faster.

What kind of mount is it?

The Chrono Corsair is a new mount from patch 11.1.7. The sinister dragon has pirate gear and first appeared as a boss in the Tazavesh dungeon in Shadowlands. Since then, many fans have wished they could get this dragon as a mount.

The mount is awarded for completing the achievement “Master of Turbulent Time Paths 3”. For this achievement, you must maintain a stackable buff from Timewalking dungeons for 5 weeks. Actually. Because just a few hours after the patch release, the first ones already have the chic mount in their pockets.

Why do some accounts already have this?

More and more accounts already have the mount. Apparently, it is already possible to complete the achievement and collect the mount if you simply keep visiting Timewalking dungeons. Sooner or later, there will be more progress for the corresponding achievement and thus the reward at the end, although you shouldn’t be able to get it yet.

Is this a bug?

Yes, with a very high degree of probability. Even if the bug does not seem to be completely fixed at the time of writing (12:30 p.m.), it will only be a temporary thing.

However, you shouldn’t expect an account penalty for this error, as the bug simply appeared during “normal play”. Therefore, it is unlikely that Blizzard will take the mount away from the affected accounts.
Apart from the new mount, there are also a lot of other innovations in Patch 11.1.7.
