Sometime in the coming weeks, patch 11.1.5 will land on the live servers of World of Warcraft. Among the new additions is a shadowworm mount, which you can earn by mastering a particularly tough challenge. To prepare for it, many players are looking to Buy WOW Gold and gear up in advance.

What kind of mount is it?

The Shadowworm, officially named Ny’alothan Shadow Worm, is coming to Azeroth in WoW Patch 11.1.5 and is one of the new rewards you can earn through the returned version of content from the Battle for Azeroth expansion.

Specifically, the Horrific Visions from Patch 8.3 will make a comeback here with the next content patch. They will take you to the nightmarish versions of the faction capitals Orgrimmar and Stormwind dreamed of by N’Zoth’s brain.

Your job: Prevent these visions from becoming reality! To do this, you have to find and kill Alleria or Thrall. With each run, however, you can also master several optional tasks as well as hardmodes. At the time, you could upgrade Ashjra’kama’s legendary cloak via the Horrific Visions, which increased the resistance to N’Zoth’s corruption.

Hardmode becomes Super Hardmode

What changes with the new version?

If you wanted to master the crispest version of Horrific Visions at the time, you could activate a total of five masks and thus just as many affixes, which had a noticeable effect on the difficulty of the challenge – at least until the nerfs.

These five masks will be available again this time. In addition, you should also be able to unlock three more masks, which allows you to activate a total of eight affixes in the new variant of Visions.

If you activate all eight masks in Stormwind and Orgrimmar and successfully complete the resulting madness in the respective Horrific Vision, you will earn the two achievements “Beyond the Most Horrific Vision of Stormwind” and “Beyond the Most Horrific Vision of Orgrimmar”.

You’ll need them for the new achievement “Mastering the Visions”, which rewards you with the aforementioned Shadowworm mount.

What else does patch 11.1.5 bring?

In addition to the comeback of the Horrific Visions, the intermediate patch also includes the new glory faction Nightfall, adjustments to Children’s Week, and the boss event “Cunning Duos”.

There is no release date yet. However, the release candidate has already gone live on the PTR, which suggests a timely launch. In addition, Children’s Week is probably scheduled to start on April 28, 2025. Since the patch for the event brings all kinds of adjustments, it has to be released before that.
