With Patch 11.1.5 for World of Warcraft, the so-called “Puzzling Cartel Chips” are coming to Azeroth. If you own these tokens, you can simply choose your Epic from the current raid — a perfect time to Buy WOW Gold and gear up even faster!
What are these chips?
The new “Puzzling Cartel Chips” are coming to Azeroth with WoW patch 11.1.5 and take on the function of the dinars from the Shadowlands expansion (which already made a comeback in Dragonflight). In other words, if you have such a chip, you can exchange it for a specific piece of loot from the current raid “Liberation of Lorenhall”.
Originally, the “Puzzling Cartel Chips” were supposed to be tied to the “Garbagio Loyalty Club” faction. You would then have received them with Renown levels 17 and 19 (via icy-veins.com). When they come into the game with the upcoming update, however, the reputation requirement will no longer apply, so all players will have equal access to the chips.

Where do I get the chips?
That’s the big question now, for which there is unfortunately no answer yet. It is also unclear whether Blizzard will introduce a cap for the new currency. Currently, it looks like you can own an unlimited number of “Puzzling Cartel Chips”.
In Season 4 of WoW: Dragonflight, players could earn one dinar per week, combined with an increasing cap. It could well be that Blizzard will do the same this time.
What is clear, however, is that as soon as you have a chip, you have to bring it to Ando. You can find the goblin in the instance “Liberation of Lorenhall”, and it gives you access to your desired loot from the raid. Thus, the chips are once again a nice way to close gaps in your equipment and mitigate the bad luck factor.
What else does patch 11.1.5 bring?
In addition to the “Puzzling Cartel Chips”, the intermediate patch also includes the comeback of the Horrific Visions, the new glory faction Nightfall, adjustments to Children’s Week and the boss event “Cunning Duos”.
There is no release date yet. However, the release candidate has already gone live on the PTR, which suggests a timely launch. In addition, Children’s Week is probably scheduled to start on April 28, 2025. Since the patch for the event brings all kinds of adjustments, it has to be released before that.
