This time-stopping event is back and better than ever in Genshin Impact. The bar for getting all the rewards is relatively low, but it’s always worth earning for your Genshin Impact accounts.

Fayz Trials Event Overview

To participate in the Fayz Trials event, players must be at least Adventure Rank 20 and have completed the Archon Quest “Song of the Dragon and Freedom.” A researcher from the Akademiya is in need of witnesses for his experiment, which involves combat. Due to a lack of funding, the researcher cannot hire adventurers and asks the Traveler to help instead. The event takes place within a domain and revolves around the use of the Fayz Potion, which has a time dilation effect, allowing players to capture pictures of enemies’ weak points without worrying about dodging attacks. The objective of the event is to find these vulnerabilities and earn Primogem rewards. The Fayz Potion constantly regenerates in combat, and players can have up to three charges.

The Challenges

The Limits of Joint Movement

  • Trial Characters: Dehya, Bennett, Xiangling, Kaedehara Kazuha
  • Supersense Skill: A shockwave of Steelgrass will emanate from enemies who had their weaknesses exposed. It will deal AoE Dendro DMG and leave behind a Steelgrass Field that will apply Dendro status on enemies in its range.
  • Buffed State: Damage from the Steelgrass Shockwave will increase, and the Field will remain longer.
  • Enemies: a mixture of Hilichurls, Mitachurls, Samachurls, Treasure Hoarders, Fatui Cicins, and Fatui Mirror Maidens. Enemies with stars over their heads will provide more points when defeated.

Tips

  • Kazuha is excellent for crowd control and can group up enemies with his Elemental Skill.
  • The provided team of Bennett, Kazuha, Xiangling, and Dehya is a solid party with Pyro Resonance that allows for significant damage output.
  • Use the Fayz Potion when ready to take advantage of the extra Dendro DMG and aura application.

The Repetition of Mechanical Structures

  • Trial Characters: Kaveh, Collei, Xingqiu, Sangonomiya Kokomi
  • Supersense Skill: Storm Sabers will target enemies who had their weaknesses exposed, dealing continuous Hydro DMG and increasing the Elemental Mastery of the party for a short period.
  • Buffed State: More Storm Sabers will appear, dealing increased damage and further increasing the party’s Elemental Mastery.
  • Enemies: Mitachurls, Ronin and Kairagi, various Ruin Machines

Tips

  • This party is centered around the Bloom reaction triggered by Kaveh. Use his Elemental Skill or Burst to explode Bloom Cores.
  • Combine Kaveh’s abilities with Xingqiu’s Burst or Kokomi’s Elemental Skill to create new Bloom Cores easily.
  • Include Collei in the rotation to make use of the Deepwood set, which lowers the targets’ Dendro RES.

  • Take advantage of the event to try out characters you may not have yet and discover new party compositions.
  • While high scores are not necessary to receive Primogem rewards, aim to complete all objectives to earn Ascension materials.
