
Wayfarer’s Barding
The Wayfarer’s Barding is a new chocobo barding added in FFXIV patch 6.55. This stylish armor for your chocobo is a reward for completing the “Tataru’s Grand Endeavor” questline, a series of side stories featuring the adventures of Tataru Taru. The barding features a golden and white color scheme with symbols representing Tataru’s journey and personality. It also includes a matching hat and scarf for your chocobo.
To unlock the Wayfarer’s Barding, you must complete both the main Endwalker campaign and all quests in the “Tataru’s Grand Endeavor” questline. The final quest, “Treasured Bonds,” can be started by speaking to Delion in Radz-at-Han. Completing this quest also rewards you with Tataru’s Bespoke Framer’s Kit, a housing item that lets you display a picture of Tataru and her friends on your wall.
Knapsack
The Knapsack is a new fashion accessory added in FFXIV patch 6.55, part of the explorer’s fashion attire. This stylish backpack can be obtained by completing the final quest of the main scenario, “The Coming Dawn,” which is available after finishing the Endwalker campaign. The quest can be started by speaking to G’raha Tia in Radz-at-Han.
Tataru’s Bespoke Framer’s Kit
Tataru’s Bespoke Framer’s Kit is a one-time consumable item that unlocks new Adventurer Plate designs when used. This new kit is a reward for completing the “Tataru’s Grand Endeavor” questline. It includes four plate elements: base plate, top border, portrait frame, and plate frame. You can use these elements to create different combinations for your adventurer plate. However, it does not include any portrait elements, so you will need to obtain them separately.
UFO
The UFO is a new mount added in patch 6.55, a flying saucer that can carry one passenger. It features a unique abduction animation and is a reward for completing the final quest of the Hildibrand questline, “Gentlemen at Heart.” This quest can be started by speaking to Delion in Radz-at-Han. Completing the quest also rewards you with “A Gentleman to Walk with Me” Orchestron Roll. The quest involves a new trial, “The Gilded Araya,” where you will face Asura, a powerful and mysterious boss who wields multiple swords.
Triad Cards
Triad Cards are collectible items used to play the Triple Triad minigame in FFXIV. They can be obtained from various sources, such as quests, dungeons, raids, vendors, and NPCs. Patch 6.55 added two new Triad Cards:
Asura
This card features Asura, the boss of “The Gilded Araya Trial.” It can be obtained from completing “The Gilded Araya Trial.”
PuPu
This card features PuPu, the friendly alien creature who is the friend of the UFO mount. It can be purchased from the Gold Saucer for 5,454 MGP. Completing the Hildibrand Quests is a requirement to purchase this card.
Ballroom Etiquette – the Lop Hop
The Lop Hop emote allows you to perform a cheerful and lively dance inspired by the Loporrits, the friendly creatures that inhabit the moon. It is obtained by completing the Endwalker Tribal Alliance quests, starting with “Dinner and a Show” and ending with “A Dream Worth Chasing.” Completing all the Endwalker Tribe Quests is a prerequisite for this quest.
