Duel Rules

Brawl Stars Duels are a 1v1 showdown where players pick three Brawlers to battle in a series of rounds. Each round features one Brawler from each player’s selection. The first player to eliminate the opponent’s Brawler wins the round. Rounds continue until one player wins two rounds. If a round drags on, poison gas will fill the arena, forcing an automatic win for the player whose Brawler isn’t affected. Supers and Gadgets from previous rounds carry over to the next round.

Duel Tips

Pick Brawlers with Fast Super Charges

• Choose Brawlers whose Super charges quickly. This allows more aggressive, frequent use of Super abilities to capitalize on opportunities.
• Prioritize Brawlers like Stu, Darryl, Edgar, Buzz, and Sam for their fast Super charging times, and their potential for quick elimination.
• Understanding a Brawler’s charge time is vital for strategic planning and adapting to your opponent’s style.

Use High Burst Damage

• Select Brawlers capable of delivering high burst damage to quickly neutralize weaker opponents.
• Consider brawlers with quick-moving abilities to get to your opponent quickly and inflict devastating blows.
• If your opponent has a slower, lower health Brawler, high burst damage can secure a quick win.

Know Your Brawler’s Weaknesses

• Carefully consider each Brawler’s weaknesses. Choose your squad so your first Brawler counters the opponent’s most dangerous strengths.
  
• Identify the opposing Brawler who poses the greatest threat to your initial choice. Select your second Brawler to address that threat.
• Your third Brawler should be a balanced option to address any unforeseen challenges.

Save Your Super

• Don’t use Supers indiscriminately. A charged Super can significantly improve your chances of winning the round.
• Consider saving Supers for crucial moments or for subsequent rounds where a swift victory or damage control can be facilitated.
• Saving Supers, particularly if you’re losing the current round, can give you a fighting chance in the next, capitalizing on momentum changes.
