How to Catch the Best Pals in the World of Palworld

In the exciting world of Palworld, players can encounter and capture a diverse range of pals. These companions can assist in various tasks, from constructing your base and crafting materials to exploring the vast landscapes. This guide will highlight some of the most valuable pals to catch early on in your Palworld adventure, equipping you with the ideal companions for building, crafting, and exploration.

Tanzee

Tanzee is a highly versatile pal, especially valuable when your pal roster is limited. With skill points in planting, handiwork, lumbering, transporting, and gathering, Tanzee can contribute significantly to your base’s operations. They can replant seeds, build materials, chop down trees, collect finished resources, and move items to chests.

While Tanzee’s frequent task switching can be a slight drawback, their hard-working nature ensures that they remain productive. To prioritize tasks, you can physically guide them to the desired activity.

Lifmunk

The Lifmunk is arguably the best early-game pal for your base. Found near the Ray Syndicate Tower and other locations, these pals may require a bit of chasing, but their worth is undeniable. Lifmunks are highly adept at finding useful tasks around the base and stand out as one of the few early-game pals capable of crafting medicine.

Ribunny

Don’t be fooled by their adorable appearance and low starting proficiency levels – Ribunnies are surprisingly valuable for manufacturing weapons and ammunition. Their Skilled Fingers Partner Skill grants them a work efficiency bonus when assigned to a Weapon Workbench, making them essential for mass ammunition production. While Ribunnies may lack combat prowess, their unique Partner Skill compensates for this. They are relatively common and can be found in various locations, including the west of the Plateau of Beginnings and within cages of Syndicate camps.

Eikthyrdeer

This majestic deer-like pal with impressive antlers is a top choice for early-game mounts. Its Antler Uppercut ability charges forward, dealing damage to pals and enemies ahead. This skill can also be used as a movement speed boost. Eikthyrdeer excels at helping you catch other pals by knocking them down and dealing damage, making them a valuable asset in capturing rare companions.

Lamballs

Introduced as part of the game’s tutorial, Lamballs are surprisingly versatile all-rounders. While they might not be formidable fighters, their combined handiwork, transporting, and farming skills make them indispensable for a variety of tasks. Lamballs can collect and store materials, build structures, craft at workbenches, and even produce Wool at the Ranch, making them valuable for early armor repairs.

Penking

With five work suitability skills at level 2, Penking boasts superior work suitability stats compared to other early-game pals. However, finding them can be a challenge, requiring a visit to the Wildlife Sanctuary, a rocky island at the bottom of the map.

Foxparks

Ingots become increasingly important for base construction, but obtaining them requires a Primitive Furnace and a pal capable of kindling. Enter Foxparks, the fiery fox. While primarily useful for kindling, Foxparks unlocks a valuable ability at level six: the Harness. This allows you to craft their Partner Skill at the Pal Gear Workbench, transforming them into a flamethrower in combat, similar to Lifmunk’s SMG.

By catching these valuable pals early in your Palworld journey, you’ll be well-equipped to build your base, explore the world, and overcome challenges with ease. Don’t hesitate to start your Palworld adventure with these exceptional companions by your side.
