Wotlk Classic Operation Gnomeregan and Zalazane’s Fall Event Bosses
For Operation Gnomeregan (Alliance):
- Thermaplugg is the leader of the Troggs and will likely be the final boss.
- Players will encounter other elite enemies and bosses throughout the Gnomeregan tunnels, airfield, and surface command post.
For Zalazane’s Fall (Horde):
- Zalazane, the “twisted witch doctor” who cursed the Darkspear trolls, will be the main target and likely the final boss.
- Players will fight against the “hexed Darkspears” under Zalazane’s control on the Echo Isles.
Wotlk Classic Operation Gnomeregan and Zalazane’s Fall Event Loots & Drops
To celebrate the launch of these events and the upcoming Cataclysm Classic, Blizzard has implemented limited-time loot adjustments:
- Defense Protocol: Gamma dungeons will have increased Defiler’s Scourgestones.
- Icecrown Citadel bosses will guarantee Shadowfrost Shards and Heroic tier tokens, with increased drops for end wing bosses and The Lich King.
- Ulduar Hard Mode encounters will guarantee Fragments of Val’anyr.
These changes will be active until the end of the Cataclysm Classic pre-patch period.
Wotlk Classic Operation Gnomeregan and Zalazane’s Fall Event Tips
Aim for level 75-80 before participating in the main events. Group up with other players to tackle objectives and bosses.
Operation Gnomeregan (Alliance):
- Use the Motivate-a-Tron device to help gnomes in Tinker Town.
- Complete Captain Sparknozzle’s training at Steelgrill’s Depot.
- Assist Pilot Muzzlesprock with bombing runs to disable irradiation vents.
- Help Toby Zeigear write High Tinker Mekkatorque’s battle cry.
- Stay close to Mekkatorque and Doc Cogspin for protection against Thermaplugg’s propaganda bots.
- Focus your attacks on Thermaplugg in the lower regions to secure victory.
Zalazane’s Fall (Horde):
- Collect frogs for Vanira’s rituals to potentially rain them upon enemies.
- Train with Champion Uru’zin to build strength.
- Assist Hez’tok in ceremonial rituals to gain the spirits’ blessing.
- Fight alongside Vol’jin in the assault on Zalazane’s forces on the Echo Isles.
- Focus fire on Zalazane himself to drive him from the Echo Isles.
