Fly & Ride in Palworld: iGV Guide

How to Ride Pals

Palworld offers a vast world with numerous activities, but exploring on foot can be tedious. To traverse the Palpagos Islands efficiently, riding Pals is essential. Certain Pals possess Partner Skills, allowing you to mount and ride them. However, you need to craft a saddle for the specific Pal you wish to ride.

  • Saddle recipes for rideable Pals are unlocked at different levels on the technology tree, so you’ll need to level up before riding stronger Pals.
  • You can craft Pal saddles at a Pal Gear Workbench once you unlock the recipe.
  • The earliest saddle is the Rushoar saddle, unlocked at level 6, followed by the Melpaca saddle at level 7.
  • At level 12, you can craft the Eikthyrdeer saddle, a powerful early-game mount with the Antler Uppercut ability for speed boosts and combat advantage.

How to Fly

Flying Pals offer an even faster and more convenient way to navigate the Palpagos Islands. They allow you to avoid obstacles like cliffs and ravines, quickly access Fast Travel points, and escape from hostile creatures.

  • The first flying Pal you can ride is the Nitewing, whose saddle is unlocked at level 15. You’ll need resources like Leather, Cloth, Ingots, Fiber, and Paldium Fragments to craft it.
  • At level 21, consider crafting a Vanwyrm saddle. While not faster than the Nitewing, the Vanwyrm is stronger in combat, making it a better choice for battling.

Flying Pals provide a significant advantage in traversing the Palworld map, enabling you to explore more efficiently and reach otherwise inaccessible locations.
