The fight against Lilith is considered the toughest in Diablo 4, because her attacks are brutal and can finish you off with one hit. Now players are reporting that the boss will eventually stop losing life points – apparently because she takes too much damage.

What is the fight against Lilith all about?

In the course of the campaign, you face Lilith herself in Diablo 4. But even after the story is completed, it’s far from over, because even after that you can challenge her again and again in her “Echo version”. Where to find them and how the fight works, you can find out in our guide. But be warned: she has many more health points and her phases are tough. Lilith even fails OP builds.

Shortly after the start of Season 9 in Diablo 4, players again report that Lilith no longer loses life points in the boss fight at one point, even though players actually deal enough damage. But apparently that’s exactly the point: they do too much damage.

Lilith becomes an invincible opponent

What goes wrong in the boss fight?

In a post on Reddit, a user shows how he fights against the echo of Lilith. He deals a lot of damage, so she flies up pretty quickly and leaves the arena. After she lands and performs a few attacks, he continues to attack the boss constantly.

High damage numbers are visible that are raining down on Lilith – but she no longer loses any health points.

In his post, he asks: “Is Lilith bugged on others too?” He then explains: “I tried it with different characters, at different levels of torment, solo and multiplayer. Each time I get her to just under 50%, but from then on her health doesn’t drop a millimeter, no matter how long I keep attacking.”

Players think: Error is inconsistent

What triggers the error? Many users note that this is apparently not a consistent error. This means that it can occur in groups, but also solo. At the same time, many players have fought Lilith at different levels of torment – sometimes the problem occurs, sometimes not.

In the commentary, heartbroken_nerd advises increasing the torment level, as the player is doing too much damage and the error is triggered by this. And IgotnoClue69 says: “I also have the bug more often when there are more than 2 players in combat. Then just reset the dungeon.”

In another post on Reddit, Exciting-Spring-1986 writes back on June 16 that he had several runs against Lilith in which she suddenly became permanently immune at 33% health. If everything goes normally, he will be able to fight Torment 4 in a few minutes.

Many other players there also seem to know the problem. Ganshea comments: “Combat has been bugged with full groups since the last patch. You can go in with 3 people, then add the fourth in phase 2. With 4 players from the beginning, you can’t get out of phase 1 – Lilith doesn’t fly down and doesn’t summon any adds.”

Some players report that it helps to increase the difficulty, play a little “slower” or simply restart the game so that the boss fight doesn’t come to nothing again.

The boss fights in Diablo 4 are always a topic of discussion in the community. Especially the fight against Lilith is frustrating for many even without bugs: It generally feels less rewarding and is more reminiscent of an “action RPG without action”.
But other bosses also make the players’ pulse rise: Since Season 8, enemies can no longer be “oneshot” and on top of that there are the phases in which they are completely immune. But: One sentence from the community boss is currently causing cautious optimism. Buy Diablo 4 Gold now to gear up for these intense encounters and stay ahead of the curve.
