Starfield 1.13.61 Patch: Carfield Updates

Starfield Update 1.13.61: A Car-Filled Adventure and Beyond

Bethesda Softworks has unleashed Starfield Update 1.13.61, a substantial patch that not only introduces the highly anticipated Rev-8 land vehicle but also ushers in a host of other improvements and fixes. The patch is designed to enhance performance, address bugs, and improve the overall experience in anticipation of the upcoming Shattered Space DLC.

New Settings:

This update brings exciting new graphical and performance customization options to PC players, allowing for a more tailored experience. These options are crucial for managing the game’s resource demands, leading to a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience.

  • Frame Rate Target: Choose between 30, 40, 60, or uncapped frame rates on VRR displays. Non-VRR displays can choose between 30 and 60, with a warning about potential screen tearing at 60 FPS.
  • Prioritize Visuals or Performance: A new setting allows players to balance visual fidelity with performance. This dynamic adjustment will impact scene detail and resolution as necessary, maintaining a smooth frame rate.
  • VSync Toggle: Players can now toggle VSync on or off. VSync synchronizes the game’s frame rate with the monitor’s refresh rate, eliminating screen tearing, but potentially limiting frame rates. Turning it off allows for higher frame rates but can introduce screen tearing.
