What is he up to? The content creator Empyriangaming tried to create the fastest character of Path of Exile 2 on YouTube in a self-experiment. For this to work, he needs the perfect character and the right setup. The YouTuber did the following:
- His equipment not only buffs running speed, but various other attributes that make him faster
- He chose the Trials of Sekhemas as his card because he can manipulate this card with various items to make his character even faster
- In order for him to achieve the right skill points, he chose the Warrior Titan as his class
- He has two friends with him who provide him with buffs to make him even faster
How is his record attempt going?
After several attempts and changes of location, Empyriangaming manages to set a new record. Through the setup and the help of his colleagues, he brought his character to a speed modifier of 7446.4%. A character starts at this value with 0%, so the YouTuber is absurdly much faster. But the high speed also has its disadvantages.

How does the ARPG become unplayable?
Path of Exile 2 is designed for a running speed around zero. The fact that characters become faster through modifiers does not bother the ARPG. However, in the content creator’s video, it becomes clear that such a high speed as he has achieved overwhelms the game.
The YouTuber’s character seems to move faster in the video than the game’s engine can load the world and its borders. He manages to break through walls, fall down chasms or glitch himself on buildings and fortifications every second.
With a single role of his character, he is already in black nothingness outside the game area. Playing Path of Exile 2 regularly like this is impossible. The ARPG is simply not designed for someone to be able to completely run a map within a few seconds.
YouTuber Empyriangaming isn’t the only one who has pushed the limits of Path of Exile 2 in Early Access. Another player has created a build that can kill entire hordes with just one shot.
