When is Path of Exile 2 coming?
The release of Path of Exile 2 in Early Access is on December 6, 2024. It is not yet clear when the game will be available as a full version.
Originally, the action RPG was supposed to start in a beta, but it is now clear that the game will initially be available in Early Access on Steam, PS5 and XBOX.
What’s the deal with Early Access?
PoE2 will initially be in Early Access for an indefinite period of time. This means that the game will not yet be released with all functions and will be developed gradually.

On which consoles will it be released?
Path of Exile 2 is coming to PS5. To play it on the Playstation 5, however, you need a PlayStation Plus subscription.
PoE2 will also be released on the XBOX Series X|S. To play on the XBOX, you probably need a Game Pass Core subscription.
Can you play Path of Exile 2 on the Steam Deck?
So far, it is still unclear whether PoE2 will work on the Steam Deck. According to the information on the game’s Steam page, Valve is currently still checking compatibility.

What do you have to consider?
The system requirements of PoE2 may change in the next few months. Because the action RPG is still a so-called “Early Access” title at the current time (as of November 2024).
Minimum requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 10
- Processor: 4 core 2.8GHz x64 compatible
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphic: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or ATI Radeon RX 470
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband internet connection
- Storage: 100 GB available space
The developers then know that your graphics card must have at least 3 GB of VRAM to start the game.

- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphic: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, Intel Arc™ A770, or ATI Radeon RX 5600XT

- Network: Broadband internet connection
- Storage: 100 GB available space
PoE2 benefits from an SSD hard drive, so the developers recommend that you install the game on one.
