Best Monster Hunter Rise Longsword Build

What is the Longsword?

The Longsword is one of the fourteen weapons available to hunters in Monster Hunter Rise. It is a versatile weapon with decent reach and vertical attacks, known for its satisfying attack chains. It utilizes a Spirit Gauge that increases the attack damage of abilities and enables the use of Spirit Blade skills.

Since the release of Sunbreak, the Longsword has received significant buffs, making it a dominant force in the current meta. Even after some nerfs, it remains a top-tier weapon choice for many hunters.
