The Radiant Sentinel Boss
Judge Cleric is a mid-game boss encountered when attempting to enter Upper Crath. Her complex kit makes her a formidable opponent. Here’s what to expect:
- Large Health Pool: Judge Cleric boasts a significantly larger health pool than other bosses, extending the battle duration, especially for players less accustomed to prolonged fights.
- Multiple Phases: The fight is divided into two distinct phases, each featuring different melee and ranged attacks. Mastering these moves is crucial for success.
- High Damage Output: Judge Cleric’s high DPS, combined with her resilience, makes her one of the game’s most challenging bosses.
Defeating Judge Cleric grants access to some of the game’s best gear. After the victory, you have several options, but the game’s sandbox nature doesn’t explicitly guide you.
What to Do After Defeating the Judge Cleric
After conquering Judge Cleric, you can choose between progressing the story or focusing on side activities.
Go to Upper Crath
The most obvious path is to venture into Upper Crath and continue the main story. This region, unlocked after defeating Judge Cleric, is teeming with new challenges. You’ll encounter unique weapons, armor, and abilities, as well as the formidable Lightreaper boss.
- Stone Golems: Slow but powerful, these massive moving Stone targets deal immense damage.
- Shadow Demons: Agile and difficult to hit, these enemies can phase through different parts of the battlefield.
To reach Upper Crath, head to the Skyrest Bridge, turn left, and pass through the door. A bonfire serves as the starting point. After crossing the door on the opposite side, you’ll find yourself in Upper Crath.
Look for Hidden Quests and Collectibles
Now’s a good time to return to previously missed areas and complete any unfinished quests. These side quests reward valuable currency, experience, and items, boosting your progress through the main story and making it easier to conquer difficult bosses. You can also choose to tackle them later, but focusing on the main story progression might mean missing out on these rewards.
Farm Up and Gear Up
If you’re struggling against a particular enemy or boss, consider farming for better gear. If you find yourself struggling against Judge Cleric, it might indicate the need for upgraded equipment. Upper Crath’s enemies are less forgiving, so acquiring better weapons and armor is essential. Farming for gear involves repeatedly defeating enemies and bosses to acquire better equipment. You can also find new weapons and armor in hidden locations or by completing side quests. However, farming can be time-consuming, so it’s best reserved for players facing difficulty with boss fights.
Explore Axiom and Umbral
Regardless of your chosen path, remember to explore both Axiom and Umbral, the realms of the living and the dead. Both realms hold valuable collectibles and rewards that aid character progression. Regularly alternating between these areas ensures you obtain all potentially crucial items or armor, making your journey smoother and more rewarding.
