League of Legends Patch 14.3: All the New Changes Explained
Patch Notes Highlights
League of Legends Patch 14.3 focuses primarily on addressing the recent itemization overhaul’s impact on the champion and item meta. The patch aims to balance burst damage from proccing items and, conversely, enhance the durability of champions heavily affected by those item changes. Expect nerfs for champions who have become overpowered due to the new system, alongside buffs for those who suffered a significant downturn in viability. This targeted approach ensures a more balanced and engaging gameplay experience for all players.
Minimum System Requirements Update & Vanguard Implementation
Patch 14.3 brings crucial system updates. Most notably, the minimum system requirements are evolving, with support for older operating systems like Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 being discontinued. Players using these systems will need to upgrade by February 21st, as support for those OSes will expire with Patch 14.4. Crucially, a new diagnostics tool has been introduced to ensure compatibility with the upcoming Vanguard anti-cheat system, which is scheduled to launch with Patch 14.5 in March. Vanguard’s implementation will be mandatory for all PC League of Legends players.
