As usual in the run-up to EA FC, many experts speculate about the best cards. In the course of the last week, there has been speculation about the new ratings from time to time.
On Sunday, August 25, however, several insiders shared new information about the 50 best players in FC 25:
What are these leaks? The leaks, which have been shared by the most famous leakers such as futsheriff or DonkTrading on X, show the so-called top 50 in FC 25. These are the 50 gold cards with the best ratings in Ultimate Team.
Leaks show 5 ratings that don’t make sense
The rating basically reflects the strength of the player in his position. In order for cards to achieve a high rating, they need certain values in the high range, depending on their position:
- Defenders need good stats in DEF (Defense)
- Midfielder
- defensive: good values in DEF, PHY (physique) and PAS (pass)
- offensive: good values in DRI (dribbling), PAS and SCH (shooting)
- Striker
- Wingers: high values in TEM (pace), DRI, PAS, SCH
- Centre-forwards: high stats in SCH, DRI
Why do some ratings not make sense? Sometimes, however, the players get ratings that they would not be entitled to in terms of stats, because not a single value reaches the overall rating of the card.

We would like to point out again that the following players are leaks and not official confirmations. The values with which the cards actually appear in the game remain open.
Rodri (91) – Manchester City
According to leaks, the card of midfield motor Rodri rises to one of the 4 best cards in FC 25. The Spaniard’s stats also read very well except for his speed.
But there is apparently no value that justifies the 91. His highest stat on the leaked cards is 87 on his VER value. That would still be 4 points away from the 91.
Martínez (89) – Inter Milan
The Inter captain also makes a decent leap to an 89 in FC 25. His predicted stats look very good, but don’t justify 89.
According to leaks, the highest value is 88 on his SCH value. A relatively small gap to his rating compared to Rodri, but like the Spaniard, he still lags behind his overall rating with his stats.
Rüdiger (88) – Real Madrid
Antonio Rüdiger is also a German national player on our list. Although the central defender has certainly earned his upgrade to an 88, his stats do not quite show that yet.
At 86 points each, his highest scores for VER and PHY would be two points below his new rating.
Katoto (88) – Paris Saint-Germain
The striker remains true to her 88 rating from FC 24. That’s enough for a place among the top 50.
If you take a look at Katoto’s alleged stats, you will notice that she also has no value with at least 88. Her predicted SCH score of 87 would be just below her rating, as would be the case with Inter’s Martínez.
Guijarro (88) – FC Barcelona
The defensive midfielder will again be a popular card for starter teams at the start of FC 25, as she has many stats in the good and very good range.
However, an 88 rating is not possible for the Spaniards either. According to the leak, her highest value is her DRI value, which is just below her overall rating at 87.
The fact that ratings and stats do not always match would not be a new discrepancy in FC 25. In the past, too, there have been cards with a high rating from time to time, but they could not have a value in such a high range. So how exactly EA determines the ratings remains a secret.
