You’ll Need a Clan Castle
Before you can join a clan, you need a Clan Castle. This building unlocks the ability to join clans, participate in clan wars, and receive troops from clan members. Building a Clan Castle costs 10,000 gold, which can be acquired quickly by completing the solo campaign missions.
Finding and Joining the Right Clan
There are many clans looking for players in Clash of Clans. However, finding the right one for you is important. Consider the following:
- Your play style: Are you a casual player or a competitive player? Some clans engage in back-to-back wars and require active participation from all members.
- Clan requirements: Are there minimum level requirements or trophy counts? Do they allow all members to participate in wars or only high-level players?
Head to the Forums
Supercell’s Clash of Clans forum has a section dedicated to clans called “Looking for Clanmates.” This section allows you to find clans based on various criteria, such as:
- Clan atmosphere
- Player type
- Language
- Prerequisites
The Clan Search
Another way to find a clan is by using the Clan Search at clashofclans.com. This search allows you to find clans by name or use advanced filters to find clans based on:
- War Frequency
- Member number
- Minimum level
Not finding one that works? Make your own!
If you can’t find a clan that meets your needs, you can always create your own! To create a clan, follow these steps:
- Leave your current clan.
- Click on your Clan Castle and select the “Create Clan” tab.
- Choose options for your clan, such as joining requirements, minimum trophy count, war frequency, and more.
- Pay 40,000 gold to create your clan.
You can start recruiting players by using the clan forums and global chat. Be friendly and welcoming to attract potential members.
