In Diablo 4, there are particularly rare, unique items – the Mythic Uniques. This includes the glaive Nesekem, the Herald. We’ll show you how to get the weapon and what makes it special.
What is this item?
Nesekem, the Herald is a mythical glaive. This means that it is one of the rarest items in Diablo 4. The Mythic Unique came into play with Vessel of Hatrted and only the Spiritborn can equip the weapon. With the Spiritborn, a total of 16 new uniques were added to Diablo 4.
What can the item do?
The glaive has the effect that you mark a random nearby enemy every 5 seconds. Marked enemies are vulnerable, your attacks are guaranteed to critically hit them and you overwhelm them. After hitting a marked enemy 10 times, the mark will be removed.
On top of that, it gives you bonuses to the following stats:
- Damage against elites
- all values
- maximum life
- Critical Hit Damage
- Overwhelm Damage
The Mythic Unique “Nesekem, the Herald” is one of the items that only the Spiritborn can equip. Another weapon that also plays an important role in Spiritborn builds and drops more often than the Mythic Unique is the “Staff of Kepeleke”.

Where can I find Nesekem, the Herald?
To get the Mythic Unique dropped, you can try your luck with the “tortured” bosses. Since Season 6, you can find the bosses on the four new Torment levels and can summon them with the usual Mats. You no longer need Stygian stones for this.
From Torment level 1 onwards, all bosses have a chance to drop Mythics when you defeat them, making them suitable for farming Uniques and Mythic Uniques specifically. In addition, it is possible to get Mythics as a loot drop outside of the bosses – but this is very rarely the case.
You can also craft the Mythic Unique Nesekem, the Herald, yourself at your trusted jewelsmith in Diablo 4. However, you will need two “Magnificent Sparks,” runes, and 5,000 gold.
