Gigantic Matchmaking: Picking the Right Hero for You

Gigantic: Rampage Edition offers a diverse roster of heroes, each with unique abilities. Choosing the right hero for your team significantly impacts your chances of victory. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each hero is crucial for success in 5v5 battles. This tier list breaks down the heroes into categories to help you make informed choices.

S-Tier

These heroes are consistently top performers, excelling across various game modes and map types. They are highly versatile and effective in virtually any situation.

  • Rutger (Tank): Unmatched durability and powerful offensive capabilities, capable of single-handedly holding down an objective.
  • Imani (Ranged DPS): A potent threat from afar, her abilities provide consistent damage output and map control.
  • Uncle Sven (Support): A masterful healer and crowd controller, capable of bringing teammates back from the brink. He can also deal considerable damage.
  • T-Mat (Ranged DPS): High damage output and effective area-of-effect attacks; easily supports a high-damage playstyle.
  • Tripp (Melee DPS): Close-quarters combat specialist, proficient in dealing heavy damage to enemies up close. Good at taking objectives.

A-Tier

A-Tier heroes are strong overall but might have slight weaknesses compared to S-Tier choices. They remain dependable and effective in a broad range of scenarios.

  • Wu (Melee DPS), HK-206 (Ranged DPS), Lord Knossos (Frontline), Oru (Support), Tyto (Melee DPS), Xenobia (Support), Rolan (Ranged DPS), Pakko (Frontline), The Margrave (Frontline), Ramsay (Melee DPS), Kajir (Melee DPS), Beckett (Ranged DPS), Aisling (Support)

These heroes offer reliable performance, but they may not dominate as comprehensively as S-Tier heroes.

B-Tier

Heroes in this tier excel in specific situations but generally have weaknesses or playstyles that limit their overall effectiveness.

  • Mozu (Ranged DPS), Charnok (Ranged DPS), Griselma (Support), Voden (Ranged DPS)

Careful consideration of map, opponents, and team composition is often necessary for successful use of these heroes. Their strengths are more situational.

C-Tier

These heroes have drawbacks that make them less desirable compared to other options. While not entirely unusable, they often fall short in terms of overall effectiveness in the current meta.

  • Ezren Ghal (Ranged DPS), Vadasi (Support)

There are better options to fulfill their roles, thus limiting their overall applicability.

D-Tier

These heroes often struggle to perform their roles effectively. Their weaknesses outweigh their strengths.

  • Zandora (Frontline)

While potentially viable in niche scenarios, they’re usually better avoided in favor of more effective alternatives in the majority of situations.
