How Many Cars Will Forza Motorsport Have?
Forza Motorsport 8 boasts a collection of over 500 cars at launch, with more to come in future updates. You’ll find a diverse lineup of European sports cars, American muscle cars, and Japanese classics.
Here are a few of the popular cars to look out for:
- 2019 McLaren Senna: A limited-edition car, only 75 were made, making it a rare and coveted find.
- 2020 Toyota GR Supra: This fifth-generation Supra has been a popular choice in Forza Horizon 5, but its BMW-like qualities have sparked debate.
- 2020 Nissan GT-R Nismo: The Nissan GT-R has always been a fan favorite, and this newer iteration continues the legacy.
- 2020 Lamborghini Huracan EVO: An improvement on the already impressive 2014 LP 610-4 version.
How Many Tracks Will Forza Motorsport Have?
Forza Motorsport 8 launches with 20 tracks, featuring completely rebuilt circuits worldwide with multiple layouts. There are also five never-before-seen tracks.
The dynamic weather and temperature changes will add an extra layer of challenge to your racing experience. Some of the highlights include iconic tracks like Laguna Seca, Maple Valley, and the South African Kyalami. Future content updates include the 12.9-mile Nordschleife coming in 2024.
No Split-Screen Support
While Forza Motorsport 8 brings a lot to the table, it’s missing a few features from previous titles.
The game does not include spectator mode, AI opponents in multiplayer modes, and split-screen support. The decision to omit split-screen support was a creative choice made by the team, not due to technical limitations. Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, explained that split-screen is not used enough to warrant the development effort.
