Discover Hidden Simpsons Gags in Fortnite C6S2

Fortnite Chapter 6 Mini-Season 2 has brought an exciting twist to the Battle Royale island, infusing it with the vibrant, chaotic spirit of The Simpsons! Players can now embark on 12 hidden “Gag” quests, each a delightful homage to iconic moments and characters from the beloved animated series. Completing these challenges not only offers a fantastic dose of nostalgia but also rewards you with valuable XP, helping you progress through your Battle Pass. Get ready to explore Springfield like never before and uncover these cleverly designed callbacks!

1. Release the Hounds

For this quest, venture to Burns Manor, located at the far eastern edge of the map. Upon entering the mansion, immediately check the first room to your left. Here, you’ll find Mr. Burns’ formidable desk. On its surface rests a prominent red button. Pressing this button will unleash a pack of loyal Doberman guard dogs, causing them to patrol the surrounding area. Since only one player can activate this event per match, aiming for this objective straight after dropping from the Battle Bus gives you the best chance of success.

2. Sit on the Simpsons’ Couch

To complete this classic gag, make your way to the Evergreen Terrace point of interest. Search for the familiar two-story house with a distinct brown roof and walls – the iconic Simpsons’ residence. Once you’re inside, head straight to the living room. Locate the instantly recognizable pink couch, a staple of every opening sequence. Simply interact with the couch to have your character take a seat, triggering the completion of this nostalgic quest.

3. Dislodge the Lard Lad Donut

Travel to the western part of the “Donut District” POI to find the colossal Lard Lad statue, proudly holding a giant donut aloft. Your task is to liberate this sugary treat. Use your pickaxe or any available firearm to repeatedly strike the donut until it breaks free and tumbles to the ground. Once the donut is dislodged, the quest will be marked as complete. As a bonus, this massive donut can then be used to wreak havoc across the map, demolishing structures and even knocking out opponents.

4. Step on a Rake

This quest directly references a famously repetitive gag from the show. Head to the Springfield Town Square area and carefully examine the various garden patches. You’ll soon spot rakes scattered on the grass. Simply walk directly over one of these rakes. Your character will step on the prongs, causing the handle to swing up and comically “slap” them in the face, just like in the cartoons. There’s no damage taken, just pure, simple amusement and a completed quest.

5. Knock the Jebediah Springfield Statue’s Head Off

At the very heart of Springfield Town Square stands the impressive statue of town founder Jebediah Springfield. To tackle this quest, you’ll need to demonstrate a bit of destructive prowess. Use your pickaxe or discharge a weapon at the statue’s head until it detaches and falls off its pedestal. Once the head is successfully separated, the quest will be fulfilled. An added bonus: you can pick up the fallen head and wear it as a temporary helmet, offering a single point of protection before it breaks off.

6. Find Mr. Sparkle

This quest leads you south of the Evergreen Terrace POI, to a landmark known as the Springfield Tire Fire. Navigate to this specific location and enter the fenced-off area. In the southern corner, you’ll notice a distinct dirt pile. Interact with this pile, and your character will dig up a box of Mr. Sparkle, the iconic Japanese dish detergent mascot. Finding this quirky item will instantly complete the quest.

7. Prank-Call Moe

To relive Bart Simpson’s notorious prank calls, you’ll need to find a public phone. Look for classic phone booths scattered outdoors around the Springfield Town Square, or head inside Moe’s Tavern, where another phone is available. Approach any of these telephones and interact with it. You’ll briefly hear the familiar sound of Bart making a prank call to the gruff Moe, and this brief auditory experience will successfully complete the quest.

8. Spray Springfield

This quest invites you to leave your mark, Bart Simpson-style. The most straightforward spot to complete this is directly outside the Kwik-E-Mart, specifically on its south side within the Springfield Town Square. Access your Emote Wheel and select the “El Barto” spray. Aim it at the right-hand wall, near the dumpster area, and deploy your graffiti. As soon as the iconic “El Barto” tag appears on the wall, your quest will be accomplished.

9. Jump the Springfield Gorge

Recreate Homer’s infamous daring feat by jumping the Springfield Gorge. First, locate a vehicle; you can often find one either near Springfield Gorge itself or at the Simpsons’ house on Evergreen Terrace. Drive your chosen vehicle to the edge of the gorge, which lies east of the Simpsons’ residence. Build up sufficient speed and launch off the cliff. If you need a more pronounced jump, aim for the ramp located west of Kamp Krusty. Successfully soaring across the gap will complete this adventurous quest.

10. Catch Blinky

The legendary three-eyed fish, Blinky, is your target for this fishing quest. Head to the pier situated east of Burns Manor. Search for a barrel near the pier, as it will often contain a Fishing Rod. Equip the rod, cast your line into the water, and patiently wait for a bite. Continue reeling in your catches until you successfully land the distinct orange, three-eyed fish. Once Blinky is in your possession, the quest will be finished.

11. Gather a Steamed Ham

This quest is a nod to Principal Skinner’s memorable “steamed hams” incident. In Fortnite, these appear as Krusty Burger-style burgers served on silver trays. Explore the various houses located around the Evergreen Terrace area, including inside the Simpsons’ own residence. Look closely on dining tables or kitchen counters for these special food items. Once you pick up and consume a “steamed ham” (which will restore some health or shield), the quest will be completed.

12. Bring the Haw Haw Humiliation

This quest is a bit more dynamic and depends on in-game events. Your primary goal is to defeat one of the three unique bosses present in the match: Witch Marge, Evil Homer, or Krusty the Clown. After successfully eliminating one of these formidable foes, Nelson Muntz will make a brief appearance. He’ll deliver his signature “haw-haw!” taunt before vanishing. Triggering this specific taunt from Nelson is what concludes this particular gag quest. Boss spawns are somewhat randomized, but exploring the triangular region between Evergreen Terrace, Kamp Krusty, and Springfield Town Square generally increases your chances of encountering them.

Completing all 12 of these cleverly hidden Simpsons-Gag quests not only provides a deep dive into the show’s rich humor within the Fortnite universe but also significantly boosts your XP, helping you unlock more Battle Pass rewards. So, gear up, drop into Springfield, and start your hilarious Simpsons-themed adventure today!
