Far Cry 6: Fontana Fort & El Florecer Guide

Ways to Go into Fontana Fort in Far Cry 6

Fontana Fort is located on a small island in the El Este region of Yara. It’s a heavily fortified area, and players will typically be met with anti-aircraft fire if they try to enter without completing the relevant missions. However, there are a few ways to get into Fontana Fort early to obtain the El Florecer pistol.

Using a Helicopter

  • Gain access to a helicopter from the El Este main guerrilla camp.
  • Fly towards Fontana Fort while gaining altitude to avoid immediate detection by the Anti-Aircraft Cannons.
  • Once you reach the coast, descend to just above sea level and fly east towards the PSI site.
  • Stay low to avoid being attacked by the anti-aircraft defenses.
  • Park your helicopter on the shore in front of the fort.
  • Sneak up the slope and deal with the two soldiers near the cannons.
  • Drive your helicopter (don’t fly it) up the slope to the wall and quickly hop over it to get into Fontana Fort.
  • This method allows you to enter the fort without triggering the SAM unit.

How to Get the El Florecer Weapon in Far Cry 6

Locating the El Florecer

  • The El Florecer is located under some metal stairs on the upper east end of the fort, near an ammo refill tray.
  • It is not in Admiral Benitez’s office or anywhere indoors.
  • The best way to reach the fort is to air drop from the Vacia Coast Checkpoint S to the west of the fort.
  • You can also airdrop from Checkpoint C, Checkpoint N, or the Valle Prehistorico FND Base to the northeast.
