Fallout Day 2025 Is Here

The annual Fallout Day celebration kicked off with a bang, hosted by Jess Finster and Richard Stanford, accompanied by a real-life Dogmeat! Bethesda started the show by teasing exciting updates and announcements for several Fallout projects, including Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and Fallout Shelter. The stream promised insights and sneak peeks into upcoming content, anniversary celebrations, and the future of the franchise. Additionally, viewers were promised appearances from special guests, building anticipation for major revelations.

The event generated significant excitement among fans eager to learn about the latest developments in the Fallout universe and the potential direction of the series. The promise of multiple updates ensured a diverse range of topics would be covered, appealing to different segments of the Fallout fanbase. The presence of a real-life Dogmeat added a fun and engaging element to the introduction, further enhancing the viewer experience.

Celebrating 10 Years of Fallout 4 With an Anniversary Edition and Nintendo Switch 2

Angela Browder took the stage to commemorate Fallout 4’s 10th anniversary. While Fallout 5 remains a distant prospect, Bethesda is bridging the gap with a special release: the Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition. It’s a comprehensive package designed to revitalize the game, bundling together all six DLC expansions. These expansions include Nuka-World, Far Harbor, Automatron, Vault-Tec Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, and Wasteland Workshop, giving players access to a wealth of additional content.

Daniel Lee highlighted the inclusion of over 150 pieces of Creation Club content, some of which are previously unreleased, to further enrich the gameplay experience. Excitingly, Creations will now be integrated into Fallout 4, promising an influx of even more new content for players to enjoy in the Commonwealth. To top it off, Bethesda confirmed that Fallout 4 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, opening the game to a new audience.

Obsidian Entertainment Shows Up to Celebrate Fallout: New Vegas and Reveal a New Bundle

Although a full-fledged remaster remains elusive, Fallout: New Vegas fans received some love during Fallout Day 2025. Obsidian Entertainment, the original developer, made an appearance to celebrate the game’s legacy. To mark its 15th anniversary, they unveiled a special Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle. This collector’s edition features a Big Box containing the PC version of the Ultimate Edition, a Vault Boy pin, Evaluation Cards, Mojave Express and NCR Recon patches, as well as a Victor Statue as its centerpiece.

This commemorative bundle offers fans a chance to celebrate and experience Fallout: New Vegas, solidifying its enduring appeal. The various collectible items within the bundle provide tangible reminders of the game’s iconic characters and locations. Pre-orders for the Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Edition bundle are now available through the Bethesda Gear Store, allowing fans to secure their copy.

Fallout Comes to the Real World

Danielle Bartholomew teased exciting ways for fans to engage with Fallout beyond the virtual realm. Bethesda is collaborating with Universal Studios Hollywood and Florida’s Halloween Horror Nights, featuring themed haunted houses and activities. For hockey enthusiasts, a second Fallout Night with the Texas Stars is on the horizon. Nevada residents can look forward to the fourth annual Pioneer Saloon Festival, showcasing a cooking competition, car show, and film festival.

Bethesda also partners with the Las Vegas Atomic Museum for “The World of Fallout Exhibit,” opening in November and showcasing artifacts from the game’s universe. These diverse real-world events demonstrate Bethesda’s commitment to creating immersive experiences. They bring the Fallout universe to life for fans beyond traditional video game consumption.

Fallout Shelter Celebrates Its 10-Year Anniversary

Fallout Shelter is receiving its biggest update ever: seasons! This introduces fresh and exciting content to the mobile game. Each season will feature a unique theme, challenges, and rewards, bringing more variety and engagement to the vault management experience. Players can look forward to new items to use, adding depth and customization to their vault designs.

Seasons will run for a limited time. Each season includes a battle pass, providing structured progression and exclusive rewards for dedicated players. While the release date for the seasonal updates is still unannounced, these upcoming additions promise to revitalize the game. They offer a compelling reason for both returning and new players to dive into the world of Fallout Shelter.

Fallout 76 Heads Into Its Next Year With Burning Springs

Fallout 76 is expanding its horizons with the “Burning Springs” update, transporting players to the post-apocalyptic desert wasteland of Ohio. Here, they’ll encounter a Super Mutant king seeking to control the territory, adding a new layer of conflict to the region. The new area introduces fresh elements, including unique fish, public events, and even mutant pigs, creating a distinct and engaging environment for players to explore.

Adding a touch of star power, Walton Goggins’ character, The Ghoul, from the Fallout TV show will be appearing in Burning Springs. Players can discover bounties related to The Ghoul in Highway Town, bridging the game with the popular television series. In addition, the iconic Ranger Armor and the familiar green motel dinosaur from New Vegas are coming to Fallout 76. While these additions are exciting, native PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions won’t arrive until 2026.

What’s Next for Fallout?

Todd Howard reassured fans that Bethesda remains committed to working on projects. Fans will have to wait for future announcements. The stream featured surprise appearances from Wes Johnson, John Carpenter, and cast members from the Fallout TV show, wishing everyone a happy Fallout Day. The second season of the Fallout show is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on December 17, 2025.

The “Fallout for Hope” livestream post-show followed. This show seeks to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. With the goal of reaching $1 million in donations by the end of the day, all Fallout 76 players will receive the “Hopeful” Player Title upon success. Bethesda’s commitment to future projects, combined with the success of the TV series, reinforces the enduring appeal of the franchise.
