Destiny Deep Stone Crypt Raid Guide for Eyes of Tomorrow

The Destiny Deep Stone Crypt raid is a challenging and rewarding experience, offering players the opportunity to earn the coveted Eyes of Tomorrow rocket launcher. This guide will walk you through each encounter, providing tips and strategies to help you succeed.

Destiny Deep Stone Crypt First Encounter – Light & Dark rooms

The raid begins with a Pike section where you must navigate through bubbles offering buffs while avoiding the storm that inflicts debuffs. The first encounter takes place in two rooms, “Light” and “Dark,” connected by locked doors. Your objective is to destroy fuses and cylinders in these rooms, using control panels and scanners.

  • Operator: Uses control panels to activate the encounter and destroy fuses.
  • Scanner: Uses the scanner buff to identify highlighted fuses.
  • Coordination is key: Teams must communicate effectively to ensure the correct fuses are targeted.

Second Encounter – Atraks-1

The second encounter pits you against Atraks-1, a challenging boss fight with multiple mechanics. The encounter takes place in two rooms: a bunker room and a space room. Each room has three lanes with augment-swappers.

  • Duplicate Atraks-1s: Multiple replicas of Atraks-1 spawn throughout the encounter.
  • Scanner Buff: Players must trade the scanner buff between the two rooms to highlight the correct Atraks-1 replicas.
  • Servitors and Nuke: Servitors will shut down the machine, triggering a wipe nuke animation. Killing the highlighted replica Atraks-1 will halt the nuke.
  • Aura Ejection: Picking up the “Atraks-1 Replication” debuff requires you to eject it into space through airlocks.
  • Lament: Consider using the Lament sword to deal significant damage to Atraks-1.

Third Encounter – Taniks Reborn

The third encounter introduces new mechanics: nuclear core disposition and the suppressor buff. This encounter is a warm-up for the final encounter, teaching players the core disposal and suppressor mechanics.

  • Suppressor: The suppressor buff stuns Taniks, allowing players to unlock bins for core disposal.
  • Nuclear Cores: Two players collect and deposit cores into the bins, one per bin.
  • Radiation Debuff: Players carrying cores have a radiation debuff that will kill them if they reach 10 stacks.
  • Taniks’ Attack: Taniks will attack once all cores are disposed, forcing players to run to the final encounter.

Final Encounter

The final encounter takes place in a three-section arena with augment machines and bins. Taniks will attack, requiring players to shoot his thrusters and dispose of the resulting cores.

  • Thrusters: Destroy Taniks’ thrusters two at a time to drop cores.
  • Core Disposal: Runners carry cores to the marked bins, guided by the scanner.
  • Suppressor: The suppressor must stun Taniks to unlock the bins for core disposal.
  • Taniks’ Bubble: Enter Taniks’ bubble to damage him, but be wary of debris and teleportation.
  • Enrage: Taniks has an enrage mechanism that will knock players back. Maintain distance and use your best weapons.
