Battlestate Games, the development studio behind Escape from Tarkov, announced in a post on X that the extraction shooter will be released in the 1.0 version in 2025. This means that the shooter is leaving the beta phase that started in 2017 after about 8 years. As the game moves toward full release, now is a great time to Buy Cheap EFT Roubles and gear up for the action ahead.
Although the developers did not give an exact release date for the 1.0 version, they revealed with a roadmap that you can expect the full version in the fall at the earliest. Patch 0.16.9.0 for the Early Access version of Escape from Tarkov is scheduled to be released in August 2025. More detailed information about the release will follow in June.

What can you expect until the release? Escape from Tarkov will receive 4 major patches until the full release, one per month: May, June, July and August. These patches bring a number of adjustments and improvements to various areas of the game, such as:
- Optimization of the maps: Lighthouse, Shoreline and Ground Zero

Fans surprised by release announcement
What does the community say about the announcement? Basically, there are three ways in which Escape from Tarkov players reacted to the new announcements:

- Joy about some of the adjustments and improvements shown that will come until the release
- Criticism for the lack of announcements regarding other existing points of criticism
On X, for example, a surprised player comments: “1.0 release? Who are you?” Another comments solemnly on Reddit: “There it is, 9 years in beta and 16 wipes later.” The Reddit user has apparently not only been playing the extraction shooter since the beta, but already started in the alpha phase in 2016.
