How to Unlock Koltin’s Shop

To unlock Koltin’s shop, you need to initiate a specific quest. Start by seeking out Kilton, Koltin’s older brother, located near the Pico Pond. He’ll introduce you to Koltin and his unusual desire to transform into a Satori, a mystical being. Koltin requires Bubbul Gems to achieve this transformation, and he’s willing to trade valuable treasures with you in exchange for these gems. Finding a Bubbul Gem is the crucial first step. You can easily locate one inside the Pico Pond Cave. Bubbulfrogs leave these gems behind when they’re defeated, providing the initial stepping stone for Koltin’s quest and unlocking his shop.

Akkala Koltin Location

Once you’ve established a trading relationship with Koltin, he’ll start appearing in various locations around Hyrule. His first shop in Akkala is situated atop a ridge, offering a stunning view over Lake Akkala. Head to Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower and journey east. The exact spot will be revealed during nighttime. Remember, Koltin’s shop is only accessible during nighttime hours. Using a campfire or a crafted sleeping method to rapidly advance the time is a valuable strategy to avoid waiting for the night to settle.

Eldin Mountains Koltin Location

In the Eldin Mountains, Koltin’s shop is situated on a small, secluded island known as the Isle of Rabac. It’s found a bit north from the recently constructed Goron road extending northwest from Goron City. You’ll need to navigate this area at night to locate the shop.

Tabantha Tundra Koltin Location

Venture into the Tabantha Tundra. Koltin’s shop stands directly across from the Snowfield Stable. This location is strategically placed in the south Tabantha Snowfield, offering a view of the Forgotten Temple in the southeast.

Hyrule Field Koltin Location

Koltin’s shop in Hyrule Field is situated just south of Lookout Landing. This location provides an excellent spot to engage in trading. This is a convenient spot for trading, with the Hyrule Castle area nearby offering various opportunities and meeting locations.

Gerudo Highlands Koltin Location

To find Koltin in the Gerudo Highlands, look northeast of Kara Kara Bazaar. His shop is located on the southernmost ridge where the Gerudo Canyon meets the Gerudo Desert. Koltin’s presence will be most prominent during nighttime hours.

Faron Koltin Location

In the Faron region, Koltin’s shop is situated atop one of the Farosh Hills, a high elevation area. Accessing this spot is made convenient by using the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower. Launching yourself from the Skyview Tower will allow you to reach Koltin more quickly.

Necluda Koltin Location

Koltin’s shop in Necluda is positioned atop the Cliffs of Quince, located east of Hateno Village. Be aware that this area is surrounded by some Monster Forces. Approaching this area may require battling some enemies, so be prepared for potential combat encounters.
