The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Geoglyphs Locations Guide
Journey through Hyrule’s past with this comprehensive guide to locating the elusive Dragon’s Tears geoglyphs in Tears of the Kingdom. These shimmering pools of light hold fragments of Hyrule’s history, revealing pivotal moments and characters’ stories. Unearthing all twelve Tears unlocks crucial insights and, potentially, the location of the Master Sword.
How to Start The Dragon’s Tears Quest
Embarking on the Dragon’s Tears quest begins with a specific in-game interaction. First, travel northwest from Lookout Landing to the New Serenne Stable. There, you’ll find Impa. Interacting with her initiates the “Impa and the Geoglyphs” quest. You’ll need to ascend in Impa’s air balloon, carefully using fire to ignite it. Once aloft, use your paraglider to descend. The first geoglyph and associated tear will be visible near her eyes, and interacting with the tear triggers a memory. Finally, report your findings to Impa, who will direct you to the Forgotten Temple.
Within the Forgotten Temple lies a crucial map detailing the general locations of all the geoglyphs. Capture a photograph of this map using the Purah Pad for easy reference. This map, however, only provides a general layout, not precise coordinates.

Tear 3: An Unfamiliar World
- Location: Near Rito Village
