When will the new update come? The next major content pack for WoW: The War Within, “Ghosts of K’aresh” will be released on August 6, 2025. On that day, the 3rd season of the current expansion will also start, with the most important content of the new endgame phase starting – as usual – staggered over the following weeks.
Here is the official schedule for Season 3 of WoW: The War Within:
- Week of August 6
- Campaign Chapters 1 – 3
- Dungeons: Dungeons on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulty 0 (except Tazavesh)
- Depths (all levels, no generous depths or keys)
- The merit for the Great Treasury begins
- Week of August 13
- Campaign Chapter 4 and Epilogue of The War Within
- Raid – Omega Mana Forge: Raid Finder 1st Wing, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic
- New World Boss: Reshanor the Unbound
- Dungeons: Mythic+, Tazavesh: Wondrous Roads and So’leah’s Chess (all difficulties), and Tazavesh, the Shrouded Market (Hard)
- PvP Season 3
- Depths: Generous depths and keys, challenge boss, new levels and curiosities for Brann
- Rewards from the Great Vault become available
- Week of August 20
- Raid – Omega Mana Forge: Raid Finder 2nd Wing and Story Mode
- Week of August 27
- Raid – Omega Mana Forge: Raid Finder Wing 3
How is the LFR mode divided from the new raid? Starting August 13, a new wing of the LFR mode of the Manaforge Omega will open every week. Here is the division of the 8 bosses:
- Week of August 13th: 1st Wing of LFR: Might of the Shadowguard, with Plexus Guard, Loomithar and Soulbinder Naazindhri
- Week of August 20th: 2. Wings of LFR: Monsters in the Sand, featuring Blacksmithweaver Araz, the Soul Hunters, and Fractillus
- Week of August 27th: 3rd Wing of LFR: The Heart of Darkness, with Nexus King Salhadaar and Dimensius the All-Devourer

What rewards await you? Through the Raid Challenge, you can earn the new class armor sets, as well as fancy mounts like the Unbound Star Eater, the Cosmic Hearthstone toy, and more.
Similar to the Garbagio Loyalty Club, the Omega Mana Forge also has a 15-rank Glory Career for you, through which you can earn further rewards and buffs. It’s called “Vandals of the Mana Forge”. You can find a detailed list of the Fame rewards on worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com.
Of course, exciting rewards are also waiting for you in the Mythic Plus or PvP area. Among them are various mounts and titles.
