The next round of balancing changes in World of Warcraft is coming up: 4 classes are looking forward to buffs – but one has to accept a small nerf.
The first season of The War Within started a few days ago and the race for the World First Kill to the Palace of the Nerub-ar is in full swing. It is becoming more and more clear that some classes do not perform as well as others. Blizzard therefore wants to improve and is bringing a number of hotfixes that should ensure more fairness.
If you’re looking to gear up faster and boost your chances of success, you can always Buy WOW Gold to get ahead in the game and be fully prepared for every challenge that comes your way!
Which classes will be improved? Blizzard has some buffs for druids, hunters, mages and priests. Only Death Knights have to live with a small nerf, but it doesn’t affect their damage, only a slowdown – so that should be manageable.
What are the changes? The planned class changes were announced on the official WoW forum and look like this:
Death Knight
Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Trollbane’s fury slows targets by 40% (was 70%).
Druid
- Savagery
- Unbridled Rage will now strike enemies within 8 yards of the Druid when using Ferocious Bite instead of enemies within 8 yards of the target.
- Restoration
- All healing done is increased by 4%. Does not apply in PvP.
Hunter
- Animal domination
- Predator Slash damage is increased to 90% (up from 80%).
- Kill Slash damage is increased to 90% (up from 80%).
Magician
- Fire
- Flame Strike deals 15% more damage.
- Phoenix Flames deals 20% more damage.
- Living Bomb deals 10% more damage.
- Frost
- Glacial Stinger deals 20% more damage. Does not apply in PvP.
- Frost Beam deals 15% more damage.
Priest
- Shadow
- All damage is increased by 4%.
When will the changes come? The planned changes will not go live until the next scheduled maintenance work, i.e. next Wednesday (25.09.2024). Especially adjustments to the classes usually come at the start of a new WoW week, so that there are not too strong fluctuations in the ranked game content within a week.
