With these 3 mounts, you can easily expand your mount collection in World of Warcraft. We’ll tell you how to get them.
In World of Warcraft, the Horrific Visions have been back for a few days and bring a lot of new rewards. In addition to the new head enchantments, there are also some mounts that you can earn.
Note that the active Horrific Vision alternates weekly. The mounts presented here can be found in the Vision of Stormwind. If Orgrimmar is currently active as a vision when you read the article, you will have to wait until next Wednesday for the vision to switch back to Stormwind.
Void-Scarred Stallion
Prerequisite: At least 1 active mask.
You can find a total of 4 horseshoes in the Horrific Vision of Stormwind. They are either in “flower boxes” or directly in the grass. If you collect a horseshoe, you will receive a stacking buff – up to 4 times.
Once you’ve found all the horseshoes, head to the Dwarven Quarter. There you can interact with the forge in the middle and try to destroy the horseshoes. This in turn summons enemies “Voidforged Stallion”, which you have to defeat. He drops the Voidscarred Stallion mount, which you can then add to your collection.
Note that you have to collect all the horseshoes in a single run and bring them to the forge. If you don’t complete all the steps at the same time, you will have to start over the next time you visit the vision.
Nesting black mite
Prerequisite: At least 1 active mask.
Everywhere in the vision of Stormwind you will find piles of garbage made of paper and rags. When you interact with these piles of garbage, various enemies can spawn. Most of the time these will only be rats or other creatures that have no great value for you.
At some point, however, the Nesting Black Mite will spawn, dropping itself as a mount.
Keep in mind that there is no guarantee that the black mite will actually spaw. You can get lucky and meet them on your first visit, or it can take many times for the summoning to succeed on a pile of garbage. It’s best to try again and again on the side while completing the visions anyway.
Voidbarred Gryphon
Prerequisite: At least 2 active masks.
Inventory: 1x Fresh Fillet, 1x Seasoned Meat Stock, 1x Portioned Steak, 1x Minced Myco Splendour, 1x Fillet on a Skewer, 1x Grilled Myco Splendour, 1x Simple Stew, 1x Unseasoned Field Steak
After you have purchased the above-mentioned items from the auction house and have them in your inventory, travel to the Horrific Vision of Stormwind (with 2 masks active) and head to the Trade District.
Defeat Inquisitor Darkword. Behind him are some dead gryphons. To the right of the fountain is a piece of paper that tells you whether the gryphon likes his food cooked or raw. As you go up the ramp, another note will tell you what food he would like to have.
The notes contain the correct indication of what the griffin wants to eat. You then put the corresponding ingredient in the small bowl and then interact with the bowl again.
- Fish = Fresh fillet (raw) or fillet on a skewer (cooked)
- Mushroom = Chopped Myco (raw) or Grilled Myco (cooked)
- Seasoned meat = Seasoned meat stock (raw) or Simple stew (cooked)
- Steak = Portioned steak (raw) or Unseasoned field steak (cooked)
If you’ve done everything correctly, the gryphon you need to defeat should now spawn. He drops himself as a mount.
