Where to Get Charged Batteries

Obtaining Charged Batteries in V Rising isn’t straightforward. They aren’t crafted, nor are they found in typical loot drops. Instead, you must actively engage in a specific process involving Lightning Harvesters within the Gloomrot region.

• Gather Depleted Batteries: Start by collecting Depleted Batteries. These are acquired from Tech Scrap Piles (which resemble ore deposits) found throughout the Gloomrot region, or from defeating machine enemies like Drillers, Gattlers, Zappers, and Lightning Protectors. Break the Tech Scrap Piles by hitting them multiple times.
• Head to Key Locations: Travel to Thunderstrike Peak or Stormdrain Hills, both located in the Gloomrot region. These areas have concentrated Lightning Harvesters, the key to charging batteries.
• Charge the Batteries: Interact with the Lightning Harvesters. Deposit 10 Depleted Batteries; the Harvester will take some time to convert them to Charged Batteries. Once complete, leave the area as the Lightning Harvesters will overload and become unusable for 5 minutes. Be aware of the increased lightning strikes.

Tips When Charging Batteries

• Lightning Protection (while charging): The Lightning Harvesters act as lightning conductors, decreasing the likelihood of you being struck by lightning. However, after the charging process, the terminals will overload, and lightning strikes become more unpredictable and damaging. Be prepared to move quickly.
• Clear the Area: Before and after charging, clear any nearby enemies. More aggressive lightning patterns increase the chance of running into difficulties with mobs.
• Maximize Charging Efficiency: Multiple Harvesters are available; using all of them simultaneously maximizes your efficiency. This will make lightning strikes occur simultaneously when they overload.

What to Do with Charged Batteries

Charged Batteries are not an end in themselves in V Rising. Their purpose is to create Power Cores, essential components for a range of powerful items.

Once you’ve collected a significant number of Charged Batteries, you can use them to craft a variety of items, including upgrades to your castle and powerful equipment.

• Power Core Creation: Charged Batteries are the key ingredient in crafting Power Cores. The recipe for Power Cores is not shown in the game interface.
• Diverse Crafting Potential: Power Cores are used to craft items like structures, jewelry, and armor at various crafting stations.
