Picking a Race in Chimeraland
When you start playing Chimeraland, the first choice you make is your race. There are 18 races to choose from, but don’t worry about picking a “superior” race in terms of physical abilities. Wings don’t automatically grant flight, and even sea-like races can drown. The best tip is to choose a race that appeals to you aesthetically.
Creating A Character in Chimeraland
After selecting your race, you can customize your character’s appearance using the character wheel. You can adjust age, gender, and choose a specific species. Chimeraland offers a detailed customization system, allowing you to modify hair, face, body, makeup, and even proportions. If you’re happy with your character’s look, you can save it using a code for future use. This code can only be applied to avatars of the same size and race.
Choosing Your Chimeraland Birthplace
Unlike many games, Chimeraland lets you choose your birthplace, selecting from three factions or continents: South-mount, East-mount, and West-mount. These continents are largely similar, differing mainly in tribe names and the specific minerals they produce. The key consideration is that travel between continents is not easy, especially without following the necessary procedures. If you’re playing with friends, choose the same continent to make the game more enjoyable. Regardless of your choice, aim for areas with a mix of hot and cold climates, or green lands. Avoid snowy mountains and wastelands.
Getting to Grips With Chimeraland’s System
Once you start exploring Chimeraland, focus on completing the main missions and learning the game’s systems. This will help you navigate the world smoothly. You’ll learn essential tasks like acquiring mounts, cooking, gathering resources, and building camps. Even if you’re initially confused, you can always consult the ‘Guide’ tab for help. By completing the main missions, you’ll receive a home, weapons, and a mount for traveling.
How to Hatch the Cloud Drune in Chimeraland
Your first-day login reward in Chimeraland is the Cloud Drune, a whale that can become a valuable companion. However, it starts as an egg, requiring your attention to hatch it. Here are the steps:
- Use the Hatcher (provided in the first-day gift) to incubate the Cloud Drune egg at your Home.
- Obtain the Darkfrost Pill from the Day 2 login gifts.
- Find the NPC named Hodei, present in all humanoid tribes, to help evolve the Cloud Drune into a Darkfrost Drune.
