POE 2 players believe a new weapon has revealed the next class

What kind of class is said to have been revealed? 

During the development of Path of Exile 2, players had many opportunities to try out the ARPG. Gameplay of classes that are not currently available in Early Access was also released again and again.

In the new teaser trailer, the Huntress should now be seen, the players believe – and they could be right.

Indications of a new class are intensifying

What’s the deal with the new class? 

Professionals who have seen every video for the ARPG before the release of Path of Exile 2 have long been sure that this must be the new Huntress class when it comes to the javelin.

Even though different classes can use different weapons in Path of Exile 2, the spear was the characteristic weapon of the new class in past tests. In addition, the update is called “Dawn of the Hunt”, which is another indication of the new class.

For fans on Reddit, that’s enough proof. Under the post with the announcement, user Loreado writes: “Huntress class confirmed, nice. Interesting that this 0.2.0 update even has its own title ‘Dawn of the Hunt’.”

What other evidence is there? 

We looked at older early gameplay of Path of Exile 2 and found strong similarities to the skills and movements of the teaser. The convincing argument, however, is probably the unique look of the class.

If you compare the few gameplay scenes of the teaser trailer with the old gameplay from the development of the ARPG, you can immediately see the similarities. The character shown looks the same as in the early gameplay of the game. Spear, shield and the character itself match.

So it can be assumed that Path of Exile 2 will not only bring the new weapon to the game, but also the new class.

The final confirmation from the developers will probably not come until March 27 at 20:00. On this date, the creators of the game present the new update “Dawn of the Hunt” on Twitch.
