Relic Fragments
Upon entering the Shattered Relics League, adventurers are guided by a wise Sage who explains the core mechanic of this league: Relic Fragments. Unlike the immensely powerful, standalone relics from prior leagues, these fragments are smaller, more numerous pieces, each offering modest but stackable and interchangeable benefits. Players will gather these fragments through nearly every activity imaginable, including training skills, engaging in combat encounters, successfully navigating minigames, or finding them as loot. Each fragment can be placed into an available slot to activate its unique effect, enhancing character abilities. As players gain League Points by completing various objectives, more fragment slots become available, expanding their strategic options. Fragments also gain experience when equipped and in use, evolving up to three levels, and equipping specific combinations can even unlock powerful set bonuses.
Gielinor Restrictions and Travel

While players can traverse the entire continent from the outset, most in-game content, such as specific dungeons, minigames, and boss encounters, remains locked. Gaining access to these areas and activities requires accumulating League Points through task completion. To facilitate movement across this expansive world, a new system of “Waystones” has been introduced. These unique markers, once discovered in each major region, enable unlimited and free teleports between any activated Waystone. This vastly reduces travel time. Additionally, all players benefit from infinite run energy from the start, making exploration much smoother. Conveniently, popular minigame teleports are also available immediately, aligning with the league’s focus on dynamic content engagement.
Sage’s Renown
Introducing a novel progression element, the Shattered Relics League features a unique secondary currency known as Sage’s Renown. This valuable resource is acquired by completing specific tasks and challenges scattered throughout the league, distinct from the League Points used for unlocking fragment slots. Sage’s Renown serves as the primary method for players to gain access to locked skills and boss encounters. Instead of simply completing a task to unlock a skill, players must earn enough Renown to purchase its unlock. This system adds another layer of strategic decision-making, as players must carefully choose which skills or formidable foes to prioritize with their hard-earned Renown, directly influencing their character’s development path and content progression within the league.
