What Are The Trials of Aeternum

The Trials of Aeternum is a limited-time event in New World: Aeternum that divides players into three teams based on their platform: Team Mountain (PC), Team Forest (Xbox Series X/S), and Team River (PlayStation 5). Over three weeks, these teams will complete specific objectives to unlock unique rewards. Think of it as a community-wide challenge, where everyone contributes towards unlocking cool in-game items. Participation is automatic, so just playing the game contributes to your team’s progress!

The color of the rewards is the only difference among the teams; otherwise, the items are identical. This event presents a fun, cooperative way to engage with the game. Focus on teamwork and enjoying the game with your fellow players.

Trials of Aeternum Weekly Objectives

Each week of the Trials of Aeternum event introduces a new set of objectives that players on each team must complete collectively. These objectives range from basic gameplay milestones to more challenging endgame activities. Completing these objectives unlocks rewards for every member of the team.

Working together is key, as the progress of each team member counts towards the overall goal. The objectives vary in difficulty and encourage players to explore different aspects of New World: Aeternum, from leveling up and crafting to tackling expeditions and PvP content.

Week 1 Objectives

• Acquire Your First Mount: Obtain your first mount to traverse Aeternum more efficiently.
• Reach Character Level 35: Level up your character to experience more content.
• Purchase Your First House: Own a piece of Aeternum by buying a house.
• Finish 1 Normal Expedition: Complete any normal expedition for PvE challenge.
• Level Up One Trade Skill to 150: Improve your crafting abilities in any trade skill.

Week 2 Objectives

• Reach Character Level 60: Continue your leveling journey to unlock further content.
• Finish “Prodigal Daughter” Solo Trial: Test your solo skills in this trial.
• Complete “Tempest’s Heart” Expedition: Take on the Tempest’s Heart Expedition.
• Play 5 “Outpost Rush” Matches: Engage in PvP battles in Outpost Rush.
• Finish 1 Mutated Expedition: Challenge yourself with a mutated expedition.

• Complete “Trial of the Devourer” Elite Trial: Test your skills in this challenging elite trial.
• Complete “Hive of Gorgons” Elite Trial: Face the Gorgons in another elite trial.
• Acquire 250 Doubloons in Cutlass Keys Lawless Zone: Explore the lawless zone and gather doubloons.
