On September 11, 2024, the new update for Lost Ark was released, bringing bliss and despair to players at the same time.
What does the update entail? You can expect a new 16-player raid against Behemoth, as well as new quests, some general additions and many events. You can find the full patch notes on the following page. Before that, GV summarizes the highlights for you in a nutshell.
Lost Ark has introduced a formidable new boss that pushes players to their limits without proper preparation and transcendence. The crux of the challenge is that Behemoth will give you the materials needed to master weapon transcendence, which significantly boosts your power. However, defeating Behemoth only unlocks the transcendence process, making it an essential step for true progress. Despite the difficulty, players are enthusiastically taking on this new challenge.
To prepare for battles like this, you can Buy Lost Ark Gold to gear up and enhance your chances of success!
What do I need to know about the Behemoth Raid? The dragon is said to be masterable at item level 1,620, as the raid has been simplified a bit compared to the Korean version. Nevertheless, Behemoth is a tough guy that should not be underestimated. After the first day, some have already ventured into the new raid.
- H3PPYx wrote (via Reddit): “The thing is, a lot of 1,620s throw themselves into Behemoth without doing transcendence, it can be done without it, but it’s difficult.”
- Puddinginging says (via Reddit): “Did it on day one, but below 1,630 it seems very difficult at the moment.”
- Kuki1537 says (via Reddit): “With the right 1,620 gear and full elixir / transcendence / good gems, as well as a few rounds of experience, this should work. However, most of those who try do not meet these requirements. I’m not saying that the raid wouldn’t benefit from being easier, but it’s not like it’s impossible at the item level. People just forget that you really have to pump at a minimum item level to make it. Which is kind of difficult when you’re not used to the boss yet.”
Here’s what’s coming with the update
What else does the September update include? Apart from the difficult raid boss and the weapon transcendence, there are still some enjoyable events waiting for you, where there are many rewards to be had. Attention Mokoko fans: The “Blooming Mokoko” event is back and brings you more Bound Gold than ever before.
What’s next for Lost Ark? On October 9, 2024, the new Endgame Class 4 will be released with many innovations, such as the Kenuart Fortress, the continent of North Kurzan, and the new hack-and-slash content Kurzan Frontline. So it’s important to prepare now, and the current events will benefit you. More info on upcoming content: One of Steam’s biggest MMORPGs adjusts roadmap, next endgame stage delayed
