Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 Reloaded patch notes in full:
NEW MAPS
The Season 3 Reloaded update introduces two new 6v6 maps: Grime, set in the derelict streets of London, and Checkpoint, a modified version of Rebirth Island’s Stronghold area. These maps cater to diverse gameplay styles, offering various strategic opportunities for players. Grime provides a compelling setting for intense 6v6 encounters in its medium-sized layout. Checkpoint, in turn, offers familiarity to fans of the Stronghold area from Rebirth Island, now enhanced for 6v6 gameplay. The updated layout will no doubt reshape tactical strategies and gameplay patterns for players accustomed to this map variety.
NEW WEAPON
The BAL-27 Assault Rifle, a bullpup prototype weapon, is a significant addition. Designed to increase fire rate over time with sustained trigger pressure, the weapon prioritizes accuracy in its initial shots, gradually increasing the rate of fire. Players will need to master this new weapon to effectively utilize its evolving mechanics. Players can unlock this weapon via the classified sector in the Season 3 Battle Pass, providing a compelling reason for players to participate in Season 3’s activities.
NEW AFTERMARKET PARTS
Three new Aftermarket Parts are available to enhance existing weapons: JAK Wardens (Lockwood Mk2), JAK Patriot (M16), and JAK Atlas Kit (AMR9). These modifications offer exciting gameplay options for different weapon classes, potentially changing the meta for players who value a well-rounded experience in the game. Each aftermarket part comes with different advantages, altering the weapons’ performance to address various strategic needs. Players can unlock JAK Wardens by completing Season 3 Week 5 Challenges.
NEW MODES
Season 3 Reloaded introduces three new game modes: Escort, Minefield, and Arcade. Escort tasks teams with protecting a vital asset across a given map, making for a dynamic and competitive game experience. In Minefield, players encounter deadly traps deployed at the locations of fallen teammates. This mode places an emphasis on strategy and precise movement to survive. Finally, Arcade mode focuses on collecting special weapon kits, adding a layer of agility and challenge to gameplay.
NEW EVENTS
In addition to recurring events like Double XP and Vortex: Vi.Rus Mainframe, a two-week event called Call of Duty Endowment: U Assist Veterans is featured. This event aims to help military veterans find jobs by facilitating connections between them and potential employers. The initiative allows players to earn rewards while supporting veterans’ career transitions. Successfully completing the CODE UAV Challenge will assist in this.
