Bode’s Betrayal
Bode Akuna, Cal’s trusted ally, reveals a shocking truth – he’s been working as a spy for the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB). He learned about Tanalorr during his adventures with Cal and saw it as a sanctuary for him and Kata, rather than a base for the Resistance.

What Happens to Cal, Merrin, Greez and Kata in the End?
The crew of the Mantis secures Tanalorr, planning to use it as a hidden base for the Resistance. They hold funerals for Cere, Cordova, and Bode. Cal and Merrin now take on the responsibility of raising Kata, robbed of both parents.

The game ends with Cal and Merrin adopting Kata, with Greez acting as a surrogate uncle. Cal’s connection to the Force and Kata’s apparent Force sensitivity create a sense of potential for the future. The possibility of Cal training Kata as his Padawan is hinted at, leaving a strong possibility for future games.
The ending of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor also leaves room for Cal’s potential embrace of the Dark Side. Throughout the game, he struggles to control his anger and dark impulses, leading to powerful Dark Side displays. A future game could see him fully embrace his aggressive emotions, adding new gameplay possibilities, such as Force lightning.
