What is the Harlequin Crown?
The harlequin crown is a head protector that is also called “shako” by many players. The name “Shako” comes from the name of the item type from Diablo 2, where the helmet comes from.
What can the harlequin crown do?
The Mythic Unique (formerly: Uber Unique) has fixed properties and is considered the best head protection for just about every build in Diablo 4. All five classes can equip the head protection and it gives you +4 ranks to all your skills. On top of that, you get a 20% damage reduction.
In addition, the head protection gives you a bonus to the following stats:
- maximum life
- maximum resource
- Armor
- Cooldown Reduction
If you want to find the coveted Mythic Uniques and especially the Harlequin Crown, you need a lot of luck. One player even got two Mythics in a short time, which every class can use – and a developer envies him for it.

Where can I find the Harlequin Crown? To get the Mythic Unique dropped, you can try your luck at the bosses Duriel and Andariel. They both have a chance to drop Ubers if you defeat them, making them suitable for farming Uniques and Mythic Uniques.

In addition, it is possible to get Mythics as a random loot drop outside of the two bosses – but this is very rarely the case. You can try your luck with the other bosses or in the Hell Tide.
