RuneScape: Quests for Powerful Attacks

Waterfall Quest

The Waterfall Quest is an intermediate quest in Old School RuneScape (OSRS) that grants a significant amount of Attack EXP, making it a valuable choice for players seeking to level up their Attack skill. It’s a relatively straightforward quest with no prerequisites, but it does require a membership. Players who are not OSRS members can explore other options to gain Attack EXP.

To begin the quest, players must talk to Almera, who can be found upstream of the Baxtorian Falls, south of the Barbarian Outpost. She will express concern about her son, Hudon, who is searching for something in the river. Players then board a raft that takes them to a small island where Hudon is located. Following the quest prompts, players will eventually receive 13,700 Attack EXP and 13,700 Strength EXP. In addition to the EXP gain, the quest also rewards players with other valuable items.

The Grand Tree

Another quest that offers substantial Attack EXP is The Grand Tree. This quest, like Waterfall Quest, requires an OSRS membership. While it has no prerequisites, it is highly recommended to complete the Tree Gnome Village quest first for a better understanding of the storyline and background.

Players start the quest by talking to King Narnode Shareen on the first floor of the Grand Tree. The King reveals that something is wrong with the Grand Tree, a significant concern as it supports the Dwarven Stronghold. He leads players to the decaying roots of the tree.

King Narnode explains that Hazelmere, the Grand Tree’s creator and guardian, is the only one who can solve the problem. However, Hazelmere communicates through riddles and cryptic messages. The King provides players with a bank sample and a translation book to help decipher Hazelmere’s messages. Completing the quest yields 18,400 Attack EXP, 7,900 Agility EXP, 2,150 Magic EXP, 5 Quest Points, and two Treasure Hunter keys.

Monkey Madness

The Monkey Madness quest is a challenging and lengthy quest that provides an extensive amount of Attack EXP. It requires players to have completed the Tree Gnome Village quest, be a member, and have reached level 43 in Prayer and level 10 in Thieving. The quest begins by speaking to King Narnode Shadeen again. He expresses concern over the missing 10th Squad, sent to Karamja, and requests the player’s help in investigating their disappearance.

Players embark on a journey to uncover the fate of the 10th Squad and complete the quest. Upon completion, players receive a generous reward from Daero: 35,000 EXP for both Attack and Defense, or EXP for Strength and Constitution. This makes Monkey Madness a highly rewarding quest for players looking to level up their combat skills.

By diligently completing these quests, players can significantly boost their Attack Skill, laying a solid foundation for their progression in Old School RuneScape.
