How to Complete Chapter 5 Season 2 Quests?

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is here with a fresh set of quests and a new boss, Ares. Inspired by ancient Greek mythology, this season brings exciting new challenges for players. If you’re eager to conquer the new season and take on Ares, this guide will help you navigate the quest system and emerge victorious. Look for Fortnite accounts in iGV.

Kickstart

Kickstart quests are your gateway to the new season. They introduce you to the key locations and features of Season 2, so make sure you complete them carefully to get a head start. These quests help you familiarize yourself with the new map, mechanics, and gameplay elements introduced in the season.

Match Quests

Match quests have replaced the old daily quests. At the start of each match, you can choose one of the three available match quests. Your chosen quest locks in once you enter the game. Completing the first three match quests each day will reward you with 15K XP.

Story

The Story quests take you on a journey through the evolving narrative of Season 2. You’ll receive instructions from The Oracle, leading you through a captivating storyline featuring Olympian legends like Oracle, Aphrodite, Cerberus, and Medusa. These quests offer a rich storyline experience, gradually unfolding throughout the season. The first story, “Legend of Oracle,” is already available, with the remaining three stories scheduled for release in April and May.

Weekly Quests

Weekly quests in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 are designed to be completed at your own pace. Unlike previous seasons, these quests don’t disappear after 7 days; they remain active until the end of the season. While you don’t need to rush to complete them immediately, it’s best to avoid accumulating too many. These quests are generally easy and straightforward, requiring tasks like emoting in different matches or searching rare chests or safes.

Milestones

Milestone tasks are similar to previous seasons, offering 20 stages of challenges to complete. Each completed stage rewards you with 5K XP. These tasks are designed to be easily accomplished, with simple objectives like thanking the bus driver.

Survivor Quests

Survivor quests present a slightly greater challenge. To complete these quests, you need to outlast your opponents and survive longer in the game. You’ll also need to eliminate enemies to meet the minimum requirements for unlocking the valuable camel’s back ornament. These quests offer more rewards compared to other quest types, so they are definitely worth pursuing.

Ranked

Playing in Ranked mode allows you to earn rewards for completing a specific number of Fortnite Ranked missions. Chapter 5 Season 2 also provides additional cosmetic rewards for players who successfully survive the stormy circles of ranked matches. These rewards are unlocked in multiples of 11 surviving Storm Circles, reaching up to 110 circles for a total of 10 bonus rewards.

How to Defeat Ares?

Ares, the god of war in ancient Greek mythology, is a formidable opponent. He embodies strength, power, and a bloodthirsty nature. Defeating him requires skill and strategy. You can find Ares in the Fighter Arena, located south of Mount Olympus.

  • Locate the statue of Ares sitting on a pedestal in the Fighter Arena.
  • Interact with the statue to initiate the boss fight.

The battle with Ares is divided into three distinct stages:

  • Stage 1 & 2: Ares sends soldiers to fight you.
  • Stage 3: Ares himself joins the battle, alongside a large number of minions. Focus your attack on Ares; once he is defeated, the minions will disappear.

Defeating Ares rewards you with valuable loot and XP. You can use the tips and strategies outlined in this guide to gain an edge in the battle. Additionally, if you’re looking to jumpstart your progress in Chapter 5 Season 2, you can consider buying a Fortnite account to quickly join the action.
