Opher, the Lonely Island, serves as a central hub for Island Souls. You’ll likely visit this island during your Arthetine world quests. Here, you’ll meet Grandpa Opher, who initiates the “Island Tokens” quest. Completing this simple quest rewards you with the Opher Token. This island is more about turning in other Island Souls than acquiring its own, making it a passive acquisition rather than an active hunt. Remember to finish the North Vern main quest line first.
2. Fortuna Island
Fortuna Island revolves around luck and destruction. Your objective is to smash both regular and golden jars scattered across the island. Breaking these jars can spawn monsters dealing moderate damage early on, so be cautious. The primary goal is to obtain the Island of Fortuna Token, which has a chance to drop from the broken jars. Focus on destroying as many jars as possible to increase your chances of getting the token. This island is purely based on RNG, requiring patience.
3. Golden Wave Island
Similar to Fortuna Island, acquiring the Golden Wave Island Token relies on chance. You need to search for trunks located throughout the island. Opening these trunks gives you a possibility of obtaining the Island Token. There are no quests or prerequisites, just exploration and luck. Keep opening trunks until the token drops. It’s recommended to bring friends to divide the labor and speed up the process. Remember the token drop isn’t guaranteed, so persistence is key.
4. Starlight Isle
The Starlight Isle Token is tied to completing a specific quest chain. To obtain the Starlight Isle Token, you must finish the quest “A Starlit Melody.” Unlocking this quest requires completing several preceding purple quests. These quests might lead you to other locations, so pay attention to the quest objectives. Some quest steps require specific items, like the Wonder Drug which costs 200 pirate coins, or visiting Facility X-301. This makes the process a bit more involved compared to the previous islands.
5. Turtle Island
Acquiring the Turtle Island Token involves completing a quest chain that begins with “The Turtle and the Boy,” given by Tatan. You will need the Harmony Island Token to complete the quest chain. The final quest, “To the Sea,” rewards you with both the Island Token and a Jewel Coral. The Jewel Coral can be exchanged at a Luxury Goods Merchant in any major city for your choice of one of three Moss Turtle mounts. This island offers both a token and a cosmetic reward.
6. Giant Mushroom Island
The Giant Mushroom Island has a unique mechanic for obtaining its token. Upon arriving, buy Red Cashew Juice from the local merchant, Pushpush. After purchase, head to the right side of the island to find a spot to use the potion, revealing a hidden area. Inside the hidden area, you can harvest mushrooms by cutting them down. There’s a chance to obtain the Giant Mushroom Island Token while harvesting. Explore thoroughly and keep chopping mushrooms for your chance to acquire the token.
7. Astella Island
Astella Island’s method for obtaining the Island Token is fairly straightforward. As soon as you arrive, you’ll notice stars falling all around the island. Simply gather as many of these falling stars as possible for a chance to receive the Astella Island Token. There are no quests or prerequisites, only collection. Roam around the island, interact with the falling stars and you might just get the token. Persistence is the key as the drop is not guaranteed.
8. Serentiy Isle
The Serenity Isle Token is acquired by finishing the quest “Revenge Is Mine,” which involves defeating the island’s boss, Metomus. However, to unlock this quest, you need to complete three prior purple quests. These quests are sequential, meaning you must finish each one before proceeding to the next. The first quest, “Who’s there?” is available near the island entrance. The subsequent quests, “A Sad History” and “The Stone of Power”, are given by the Legendary Blacksmith, requiring materials from the Tortoyk’s Heart dungeon.
9. Island of Time
The Island of Time requires utilizing your Fishing Trade Skill. You have a chance to create a Magick Jar while fishing. Once you obtain the Magick Jar, head to where the boss Savnak is located, marked on the map. Inside the orange circle, use the Magick Jar item. Defeating the boss Savnak may result in dropping the Island of Time Token. This process combines trade skills with combat, giving it a unique feel.
10. Reminiscence Isle
On Reminiscence Isle, you obtain the Island Token by completing the quest “My Truest Friend.” To activate the quest, interact with the artifact at the island’s entrance. Then, interact with ghostly items or wait in orange circles. After that, venture into the dungeon and interact with four specific items found along the path. Following these instructions leads to the completion of the quest, which then grants you the Island Token. The directions are important for completing the quest effectively.
11. Fomona Island
The Fomona Island Heart is fairly easy to acquire. You simply need to complete the purple quest available on the island. The quest itself isn’t particularly challenging. There is no complicated procedure or pre-requisite quest required to begin the mission. Just accept the quest, follow the directions, and complete it to claim the Island Heart as a reward. This is one of the easier Island Hearts to obtain in the game.
12. Distorted Island
The Distorted Island’s token requires you to speak with an NPC that spawns randomly inside the island’s residence. You can enter the residence through tunnels on either the left or right side of the island. The NPC can spawn in one of four rooms within the mansion. After talking to the NPC, they vanish and you must find them again in a different location. Completing that mission leads to another, requiring you to obtain 3 Cube Visions, which are acquired by completing Cubes and opening silver cube chests.
13. Aiwana Island
The Island Heart on Aiwana Island can be obtained by completing the island’s purple quest. To unlock this quest, you must first complete a purple quest located in Stern (Arthetine). Completing the Arthetine quest will then send you to Bikini Island, opening the questline required for Aiwana Island’s Heart. So, this is a case of starting from one area, following the questline to reach the necessary quest to get the Island Heart.
14. Gravis
Similar to Aiwana Island, obtaining the Island Heart on Gravis requires you to first complete the purple quest on Bikini Island. After completing the Bikini Island quest, the purple quest on Gravis becomes available. Finishing the purple quest on Gravis will reward you with the Island Heart. Therefore, access to the Island Heart quest is gated behind a pre-requisite quest on a different island.
15. Slime Island
Slime Island is all about killing slimes! By defeating slimes, you’ll obtain slime shards, which can be sold for jelly coins to Yulia. The Island Token on Slime Island is a random drop obtained from killing a Golden Bell Slime. While a Silver Queen Slime also exists, it does not drop the Island Token. The Island Token may drop for anyone in your party who kills a Golden Bell Slime.
16. Facility X-301
To get the Facility X-301 Island Token, you must complete the island’s yellow quests to unlock the quest “Serviceable Condition.” This quest requires collecting 1000 batteries, which drop from enemies on the island. Completing “Serviceable Condition” rewards you with the Secret Hideout Access Card, which allows you to enter the island dungeon, X-301 Area 7. Inside the dungeon, defeat Experimental Tarmakum to obtain the Facility X-301 Island Token.
17. Kalthertz
Kalthertz’s Island Token involves purchasing slaves using pirate coins. There are nine slaves available for purchase, with a daily limit of five. Buying a slave will result in either a “Chest of Reward” or a “Released Prisoner’s Pouch” being sent to your mail. The Kalthertz Island Token has a chance to be found in either of these items. Slave costs vary, making this a pirate coin investment with a chance for the Island Token.
18. Alaker Island
On Alaker Island, you must participate in the cooperative quest “Be Gone, Chickings,” which starts three minutes after arriving. This quest requires defeating three bosses. The final boss, Golden Chicking, has a chance to drop the quest item “Splendid Gold Feather.” Use the Splendid Gold Feather to start the quest “The Best, Golden Chicken,” which, upon completion, awards you with the Alakkir Island Token. A cooperative activity and key drops define the token acquisition.
19. Crescent Isle
Crescent Isle involves hunting rabbits using your Hunting Trade Skill. Killing rabbits will give you “crystallized rabbit scale.” Accumulate 60 Crystallized Scales and trade them with the merchant Aldridge in exchange for the Crescent Isle Token. So, the token is not a random drop, but a direct exchange for a set of resources gathered through hunting.
20. Naruni Island
You can acquire the Island Heart on Naruni Island by finishing the purple quest. The quest involves interacting and conversing with various Narunies located throughout the island. Simply follow the quest prompts, speak to the Narunies indicated, and complete any tasks they require. This quest is relatively simple, making it a more accessible Island Heart to obtain.
