
According to the roadmap, the new Season 9 in Diablo 4 will start in July. With the new season, new content is coming into the game and Blizzard is mixing up the endgame activities. The Nightmare Dungeons in particular are getting an update, because: Escalating Nightmare Dungeons, “Horadric Treasure Chambers” and a few quality-of-life improvements will be added.
On top of that, new uniques are also coming into play. The items that are known from the patch notes for the Season 9 PTR are listed below with their effects. There are 6 new uniques mentioned there – one per class. New Mythics are apparently not added.
All uniques from Season 9 at a glance
What new uniques will be added? Below you will find the new uniques that will be added to the game for the individual classes in Season 9. We will also go into their affixes and aspects. English terms will be exchanged if the items are known in German. As soon as their exact locations are announced, you will find them in the list of all bosses and their drops in Diablo 4.
Barbarian: Hooves of the Mountain God (Boots)
- Attacks reduce the cooldown of Dodge by 2.5 seconds
- +17.5–23% movement speed
- +16–25% Base Attack Speed
- +7–10 Rage per second
- +2–3 Ranks in Belligerence
- Aspect: When you reach maximum rage, it is quickly drained until it is depleted. During this time, all basic abilities deal area damage and deal 70–100%[x] more damage.
Druid: Noxious Spine-Breaker (2H Weapon)
- +110% damage against poisoned enemies
- +14–18% Spirit
- +114–150% Poison Damage
- +26–35% chance for Maul to hit twice
- +26–35% Resource Cost Reduction
- Aspect: Every 10 seconds, Maul creates a puddle of poison that deals 200-400% of the damage over 6 seconds as poison damage. If you hit the puddle again with Crush, an additional 20-40% of the total damage is distributed in the area.
Necromancer: The Hand of Naz/The Hand of Naz (Gloves)
- +77.5–100% Skeleton Mage Damage
- +10.5–15% Attack Speed
- +424–457 maximum Life
- +2–4 Ranks in Skeletal Mage Mastery
- Aspect: Sacrificing Skeleton Warriors and Golems grants an additional Skeletal Mage each. If a Mage attacks 25 times without dying, they transform into an Archmage. Archmages teleport to safety when attacked, occasionally detonating their attacks, dealing 50-100% more damage to the target and up to 3 additional targets.
Huntress: Deathmask of Nirmitruq (Head Protection)
- +424–457 maximum Life
- +2–3 Skill Ranks in Bladestorm
- +16–25% Movement Speed
- +224–296 Armor
- Aspect: You can overexert yourself when casting Bladestorm and spend 10% Life if you don’t have enough Energy. Spending life increases the damage of Bladestorm by 30-50% and your attack speed by 50% for 5 seconds.
Sorceress: Ophidian Iris/Ophidian Iris (Amulet)
- +30% resistance to all elements
- Summoned Hydras have +2 heads
- +11.5–15.7% Intelligence
- +5.2–6.0% Critical Strike Chance
- +77.5–100% Pyromancy Damage
- +1–2 to Devouring Flame
- Aspect: Hydra is now a core ability and always summons a three-headed Hydra whose attacks explode on impact. For each additional head (beyond three) the Hydra would have, it grows instead, dealing 50-100%[x] more damage.
Spiritborne: Balazan’s Maxtlatl (Leg Armor)
- +107–121 Dexterity
- +424–457 maximum Life
- +268–373 Thorns
- +2–3 Ranks in Bulwark
- Aspects: Each attack deals 200-300% of your Thorns as damage to nearby enemies, and 100% of them as additional poison damage over 3 seconds. Whenever you counter with Thorns, the poison damage is increased by 100% for 5 seconds, up to a maximum of 300%.
These were all the unique items that will be added in Season 9 for the six classes. Uniques can have a huge impact on builds and change the way you play.
