
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 update 1.065.000 patch notes:
GLOBAL
This update, available now, brings the highly anticipated Squid Game crossover to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. It also significantly alters the game’s gameplay mechanics and introduces new features.
- Mantle speeds across the board have been increased.
- Players can now open and close doors while sprinting.
Alongside the Squid Game event, the patch addresses various visual and interface issues. For example, the update fixes an issue where players’ view was obstructed by certain weapons when using a specific tracer pack. Other UI improvements include enhancements to the pre-match and after-action report (AAR) flows, making them more user-friendly and easier to navigate.
- A Dismiss button and timer have been added to the AAR.
- A Summary section has been added for a more concise overview.
- Match finding is now more readable.
Important Note: This update may reset operator selections and customisations for some players.
MULTIPLAYER
The update has introduced several new modes and features to the multiplayer experience, including Squid Game-themed game mechanics.
- Red Light, Green Light – A fast-paced new mode where players must obey Young-hee’s commands to avoid elimination.
- Pentathlon – A series of multiple multiplayer modes testing players’ skills and teamwork, including Piggy Bank TDM and Roulette.
- Squid Game Moshpit – A twist on existing multiplayer modes, with three exclusive Squid Game elements: Red Light, Green Light Scorestreak, Piggy Bank, and Roulette Handgun.
- Prop Hunt – Various bug fixes and improvements have been made to enhance the experience of this core mode.
The patch also introduces the “High Roller” wildcard, allowing players to equip up to four scorestreaks simultaneously. Several balance adjustments are made to existing scorestreaks, such as reduced damage for RC-XD and increased fire rate for the Sentry Turret. A variety of minor fixes related to user interface, audio, and weapon interactions are also included.
ZOMBIES
Several notable adjustments are present in the Zombies mode. The update brings substantial changes to maps and gameplay, including the introduction of new elemental swords and a new mode. The Citadel des Morts map features a significant alteration in the form of a new, elemental weapon set.
- Elemental Sword Wonder Weapons – All swords are now capable of hitting two enemies per swing, with damage adjustments based on distance. Several specific changes are made to Balmung, Durandel, Caliburn, and Solais.
- Dead Light, Green Light – A new Zombies mode inspired by the popular Squid Game segment, introduces a new “Dead Light, Green Light” mode for Citadelle des Morts.
- Directed Mode – Expanded in Citadelle des Morts, Directed mode offers a new gameplay experience with distinct rewards. Also, the deadline for Main Quest completion in Standard Mode is extended.
Further, fixes address a broad range of issues affecting zombie encounters, weapons, gobblegums, ammo mods, field upgrades, scorestreaks, power-ups, enemies, activities, and challenges. These improvements ensure a more refined and enjoyable experience for Zombies players.
