Why Choose Water?
Chance is the primary stat that boosts Water-based damage and healing. It also increases your Prospecting, which improves your chances of obtaining loot at the end of a fight. Classes that benefit from Water spells will naturally want to focus their gear around this element.
Stat Distribution
Your stat allocation depends on your playstyle and role:
- Full Chance: Ideal for ranged classes or those focused purely on damage output.
- Balanced (300 Chance / 395 Vitality): Recommended for melee or close-combat classes. This hybrid setup allows you to withstand an extra hit or two, increasing your survivability.
Suggested Gear
Here’s a suggested Water-based budget setup for level 200 characters:
- Weapon: Dagoulinantes (can be swapped for Rapière aux Glyphes or Tonfas de Barbéryl)
- Ring: Gelano with an AP or MP exo (still one of the most affordable ways to gain a free MP)
- Mount / Pet:
- Preferred: Dragoturkey Indigo and Ivory
- Alternatives: Kanigloups, Blue Piwi, or Déhluge (depending on server economy and availability)
- Set pieces: Include Sinistrofu items like the Amulet or Boots, and Poulpagne for survivability and solid base stats
Trophies and Dofus
No trophy or Dofus is strictly required, except for the Nomad for the critical MP.
Other useful options:

Forgemaging and Optimization
