The Way to Change Class in Diablo Immortal
Diablo Immortal offers players the exciting opportunity to change their class, allowing them to experience different playstyles and experiment with various abilities. This new feature, however, comes with a set of rules and requirements that players need to understand before making the switch.
What are the rules of Class Change in Diablo Immortal?
- Level Requirement: Players must reach level 35 before they can change their class. This ensures that they have gained a sufficient understanding of the game’s mechanics and have a solid foundation for exploring new classes.
- Cooldown Period: Class changes are limited to once every seven days. This cooldown prevents players from constantly switching classes, encouraging them to invest time and effort into mastering each chosen class.
- No Gear Transfer: When changing classes, class-specific gear and cosmetics will not be transferred to the new class. This emphasizes the distinct identities and playstyles of each class, requiring players to equip new gear and customize their appearance according to their chosen class.
- Reversibility: Class changes are reversible, allowing players to return to their previous class whenever they desire. This ensures that players are not locked into their choices and can freely explore different classes without permanent consequences.
How to Change Your Class in Diablo Immortal
The process of changing your class in Diablo Immortal is straightforward and accessible. To change your class, you will need to locate the Shifting Flames Brazier, which is situated in Selynne’s Basilica, located to the north and east of Westmarch.
Once you reach the Brazier, you will be presented with two options: Overview and Class Change. The Overview provides a comprehensive explanation of the class change rules, requirements, and details, ensuring that players have a clear understanding of the process before proceeding. The Class Change option takes you to a selection screen where you can choose your new class from the available options.
After selecting your new class, you will be prompted to confirm your choice. The game will then display all the cosmetics associated with your previous class, reminding you that these will not carry over to the new class. Upon confirmation, your character will be transformed into the chosen class, ready to embark on new adventures with their new set of skills and abilities.
What Happens When You Change Class?
When you change your class in Diablo Immortal, certain aspects of your character remain unchanged, while others are reset. Your progress regarding Horadric Vessels, Helliquary, and equipped gear, including items in your stash, will be preserved. This ensures that your overall progression in the game is not lost during the class change process.
However, legendary items specific to your previous class will not be transferred. This encourages players to re-engage with the process of acquiring new legendary items tailored to their chosen class. Additionally, your character’s appearance and cosmetics will revert to the default settings for the newly selected class, providing a fresh start in terms of visual customization.
