In Season 8, new uniques for the six classes in Diablo 4 will move in. You can find out what these are and what the unique items can do here on iGV.

On April 29, Season 8 in Diablo 4 will start with a delay of two weeks because the update requires more development time than originally planned. With the new season, new content is coming into the game:

  • The new mechanic is the boss powers, which you take over when you kill the tough enemies. So you can take revenge on them and finish them off with their own attacks.
  • Three more bosses come into play: Belial, Urivar and the Messenger of Hatred. Belial is the new “Pinnacle Boss” and thus one of the toughest opponents in the game next to Lilith.
  • To do this, the system of how you summon the bosses will be revised. You no longer need mats for this – but you can use them to open chests to bag more loot after the boss fight.

On top of that, new uniques are also coming into play. We list the items that are known so far from the patch notes for the Season 8 PTR with their effects below. As of now, 6 new uniques are mentioned – one per class. New Mythics are apparently not being added.

You can test the new uniques on the PTR (test server) starting Tuesday – until March 18. Since this is preliminary information, the items are still subject to change. If that happens, we will update the article accordingly.

All uniques from Season 8 at a glance

What new uniques will be added? Below you will find the new uniques that will be added to the game for the individual classes in Season 8. We will also go over their affixes and aspects. The Firestorm is considered an Eagle, Jaguar, and Storm Feather skill.

These were all the unique items that will be added in Season 8 for the six classes. Uniques can have an enormous influence on builds and change the way you play. It is still unclear which classes and which strong builds will be at the top in the coming season and whether the new uniques will play a role in this. There are still a few weeks to go until then. Buy Diablo 4 Gold to prepare for the new season and stay ahead in gearing up your character!
