Destiny 2: Xur's Location & Exotics (Aug 25-29)

Destiny 2: Xûr’s Stash – August 25-29

Where Is Xûr Today?

For the weekend of August 25-29, Xûr, the enigmatic vendor, graces the halls of the Tower. He can be found at the hangar on the eastern side of the Courtyard. Simply navigate to the designated landing point in The Courtyard, and head into the hangar. A quick left turn will bring you face-to-face with this week’s celestial purveyor.

What’s Xûr Selling Today?

This week, Xûr’s inventory features a diverse selection of gear, including an Exotic Engram, an Exotic Hand Cannon, and Exotic armor pieces tailored for each Guardian class. He also presents a collection of Legendary weapons and armor, designed for both PvE and PvP engagements.

Exotic Weapons

  • Hawkmoon (Exotic Hand Cannon): This week’s Hawkmoon boasts a solid, albeit not exceptional, roll. If you need a Hand Cannon, it’s a suitable option; however, better choices might be on the horizon.
  • Dead Man’s Tale (Exotic Scout Rifle): Unfortunately, this week’s Dead Man’s Tale doesn’t feature any notable rolls, making it a less desirable option.

Legendary Weapons

Xûr’s Legendary weapon selection offers a few noteworthy choices:

  • Sweet Sorrow (Auto Rifle): This weapon includes several advantageous perks for auto rifle users.
  • Tripwire Canary (Combat Bow): The Tripwire Canary boasts strong bow perks like Frenzy and Archer’s Tempo, making it a valuable choice for bow users.
  • IKELOS_HC_V1.0.3 (Hand Cannon): A Hand Cannon that likely serves as a solid pick for Hand Cannon enthusiasts.
  • Tarantula (Linear Fusion Rifle): A decent selection of Linear Fusion Rifle perks.
  • Sailspy Pitchglass (Linear Fusion Rifle): Another good option if a Linear Fusion Rifle is what you’re looking for.
  • Jian 7 Rifle (Pulse Rifle): A Pulse Rifle with noteworthy perks likely well suited to Pulse Rifle users.
  • Death Adder (Submachine Gun): A solid Submachine Gun with perks that should prove valuable to Submachine Gun users.

Warlock Legendary Armor

This week, the Warlock’s inventory includes the Holdfast armor set. Noteworthy aspects of the set include:

Armor Piece Stats
Holdfast Gauntlets 10 Mobility, 2 Resilience, 19 Recovery, 20 Discipline, 2 Intellect, 12 Strength
Holdfast Chest Armor 17 Mobility, 2 Resilience, 14 Recovery, 7 Discipline, 18 Intellect, 6 Strength
Holdfast Helmet 10 Mobility, 2 Resilience, 22 Recovery, 14 Discipline, 17 Intellect, 2 Strength
Holdfast Leg Armor 2 Mobility, 10 Resilience, 22 Recovery, 10 Discipline, 20 Intellect, 2 Strength

Overall, the Holdfast set offers good stats but their distribution is not ideally balanced.

Titan Legendary Armor

Titans can find the Holdfast armor set. This set features:

Armor Piece Stats
Holdfast Gauntlets 18 Mobility, 2 Resilience, 10 Recovery, 12 Discipline, 11 Intellect, 10 Strength
Holdfast Chest Armor 28 Mobility, 2 Resilience, 2 Recovery, 10 Discipline, 12 Intellect, 10 Strength
Holdfast Helmet 24 Mobility, 7 Resilience, 2 Recovery, 2 Discipline, 15 Intellect, 14 Strength
Holdfast Leg Armor 18 Mobility, 2 Resilience, 12 Recovery, 2 Discipline, 12 Intellect, 19 Strength

Similar to the Warlock set, the Titan Holdfast set has overall positive stats but the stat distribution presents some drawbacks.

Hunter Legendary Armor

Hunters can acquire the Holdfast set. This set includes these pieces:

Armor Piece Stats
Holdfast Gauntlets 10 Mobility, 10 Resilience, 10 Recovery, 2 Discipline, 30 Intellect, 2 Strength
Holdfast Chest Armor 6 Mobility, 23 Resilience, 2 Recovery, 10 Discipline, 12 Intellect, 10 Strength
Holdfast Helmet 2 Mobility, 12 Resilience, 18 Recovery, 12 Discipline, 2 Intellect, 19 Strength
Holdfast Leg Armor 10 Mobility, 22 Resilience, 2 Recovery, 12 Discipline, 11 Intellect, 10 Strength

While some Hunter pieces have good individual stats, the overall distribution might not be optimal for many players.
