GAMEPLAY

The latest title update for College Football 25 introduces a range of gameplay enhancements, including new playbooks, improved AI behavior, and various bug fixes. Here are some key changes:

• New Switch Stick Delay Options: Players can now customize the delay of the switch stick mechanic, offering more control over gameplay. The options include:
  • No Delay
  • Slight Delay
  • Large Delay
  • Disable Switch Stick
• Defender Slipping Through Double Teams: Fixed an issue where defenders would sometimes pass through double teams without the appropriate animation.
• CPU Play Call Tuning: General adjustments have been made to the CPU’s play calling and coach suggestions across all modes.
• Jet Touch Pass Reduction: The CPU is less likely to call Jet Touch Pass plays.
• Pass Committing vs. Trick Plays: The effectiveness of Pass Committing against Trick Plays has been increased.
• Run Committing from Man Coverage: The risk associated with Run Committing from Man Coverage has been increased.
• Conservative Ball Carrier Adjustment: Fixed an issue where players could continue to spin while using a conservative ball carrier coach adjustment.
• Roughing the Kicker Penalty Reduction: AI logic has been adjusted to significantly reduce the chance of receiving a roughing the kicker penalty on punts and field goals.
• HB Screen Plays: Defensive Linemen are now more effective at sniffing out HB Screen plays.
• New Formations: 11 new formations have been added to teams’ playbooks, including:

  • Pistol Bunch Open (Missouri)
  • Pistol Ace Heavy Overload (Ball state)
  • Pistol Wing Slot Over (Florida, Texas A&M, Michigan, Kennesaw State)
  • Pistol Weak Slot Over (Texas A&M, Cincinnati)
  • Pistol Strong Trips Over (Florida, Multiple, Cincinnati)
• Jet Sweep Plays: New Jet Sweep series plays have been added for Utah, Bowling Green, and Kentucky.
• Formation & Play Additions: More formations and plays have been added to multiple teams’ playbooks, especially empty and short-yardage formations (this will continue in future updates).
• Liberty Personnel Change: The default personnel for Liberty’s pistol formations has been changed to include 2 HBs instead of an HB and a TE/FB.

DYNASTY

Dynasty mode sees a range of enhancements, including new editing capabilities, AI improvements, and bug fixes. Here’s a breakdown:

• Rating Editing: Players can now edit ratings for non NIL players and recruits.
• Super Sim Tuning: Super Sim tuning has been adjusted to reduce completion percentages across the country, with a particular focus on limiting quarterbacks from completing over 70% of their passes.
• Super Sim Timing Logic: New AI Super Sim timing logic has been introduced for in-game simming. Play time will now scale according to the selected quarter length.
• Mass Subs: The ability to perform Mass Subs has been enabled for both Online and Offline Dynasty games when playing against the AI. Players can sub in their entire 2nd unit or starting group.
• Awards System Tuning: Further tuning has been made to the Awards systems.
• Returner of the Year Stat Display: An issue with the Stat Display for Returner of the Year has been fixed.
• Kent State & Oklahoma State Coaching Staff Updates: Updated data for the Kent State and Oklahoma State coaching staffs is now available (new Dynasty saves will be required).
• Injury Label Correction: An issue where the Broken Vertebrae injury was incorrectly labeled as a Strained Back has been fixed.

COLLEGE ULTIMATE TEAM

The Ultimate Team mode has received a number of updates, fixing various issues and improving the user experience. Here are some highlights:

• Player Upgrade & Refund Animation Fix: Player Upgrade and Refund animations are no longer misaligned.
• Milestone Progress Display Fix: An issue causing Milestone Progress to display incorrectly has been resolved.
• Solo Battles Navigation Fix: The filter drop down for ‘My Rank’ and ‘Top 100’ will no longer remain on the screen after navigating away in Solo Battles.
• Live Events Tab Error Message Fix: An issue causing error messages after selecting ‘Objectives’ on the Live Events tab has been fixed.
• Team Chemistry Display: The required coin amount to unlock Team Chemistry will now be displayed when viewing Team Chemistry on the Upgrade Tab of the Single Item Viewer.
• Set Error Fix: An issue causing server errors after attempting to add an Item Set has been fixed.
• ‘Open Next Pack’ Availability: ‘Open Next Pack’ is now available during the Fantasy Pack Flow.
• Truncated Text Clean-up: Truncated text on various screens has been cleaned up.

ROAD TO GLORY MODE

Road to Glory mode has also received a few important updates, offering more player control and gameplay enhancements. Here’s a breakdown:

• Audible Ability: Players can now audible regardless of their position when lined up on the field.
• HB Archetype Attribute Tuning: Starting attributes for all HB archetypes have been re-tuned, including an increase to speed, agility, change of direction, and stamina.
• CB Archetype Attribute Tuning: Starting attributes for all CB archetypes have been re-tuned, including an increase to speed, stamina, acceleration, and agility.

PRESENTATION AND UI UPDATES

The latest title update brings visual enhancements, including new uniforms and NIL players. Here are some key updates:

• New Uniforms: New uniforms have been added for Arkansas State, UAB, Western Kentucky, Louisiana Monroe, Tennessee, ECU, West Virginia, UMass, Charlotte, Ohio State (jersey swoosh will only turn diamond when in playoff games), Colorado State, and Minnesota.
• Updated Uniforms: Uniform pieces for the 2024 season have been updated for Charlotte, Cal, Tulsa, and Miami (OH).
• NIL Players: New NIL Players have been added for multiple teams.

ROAD TO CFP

The Road to CFP mode has also seen some adjustments to reflect the five-tier format. Here’s the key change:
